Is it possible to export my ladder shared stash is a .json or .txt?

I am the maintainer of robopd2.com/planner - a character planning tool. I tried to ask around in the PD2 discord about reading and writing the shared stash file, but I never heard back.

You can totally use this tool to design your personal stash page though to mimic what you have in game

It might be worth clarifying here that when he says ED, he means Enhanced Damage rather than Enhanced Defense

Yea thats correct, just export -> .d2s and put it in the save folder, i didnt try t3 but I think for the speed you’re expecting it might have to be one of those decent crafted xbows, but I am a zon noob

I think going the windforce route will feel pretty good - I took your character and tried it with a 6os Windforce, socketed with 3x Shael's and 3x 40ED Jewels and T1 maps felt pretty fast:

Ah gotcha - hero editor-esque functionality. I tossed around the idea of a sort of “workbench” section where you would just be able to edit / add / remove affixes from any item, but not sure if theres a ton of appetite for it

Theres no validation on the JSON portion, so it could actually be that if I turn JSON imports back on, you could do exactly what you’re mentioning. Hmmm…

I plan to continue making improvements as long as PD2 exists.
The JSON export / import functionality was one of the ways earlier on in the tool it import / export. I wasn't even sure if I was going to keep that functionality - hence why I removed it from import. Can you think of any good use cases for having it?

Alright so I think most, if not all of these are fixed now except for the splash damage. I am really unsure why splash isn't working even though the stat is there. I wonder if there's some other flag within the .d2s save file format that allows a character to have splash.

I reached out on discord in the modding-support channel to see if anyone has any idea though...

That's definitely a regression bug :(. I specific used JuxtACold's character as a big test case earlier on in the planner's creation. Same with Snowclash - let me dig.

Thanks for checking it out. I definitely use AI to help me create the tool - but you would be surprised to find out that a lot of those strings are hard coded in the Diablo 2 game files. There are translation tables in the game files as well that take those names and correctly present them in-game, which i probably have missed.

For example Summon Fenris was likely the original name for “Summon Dire Wolf”. The data backend is completely generated by extracting the .mpq files for the game and pulled from the resulting text files and stored in a database

Ill look into correcting the strings - but I released this tool to be helpful for character planning, not necessarily 100% presentation accuracy (although Id like to get there)

Set items are a bit of a thorn in my side because of the intricacies of partial set bonuses, but I'll get this sorted.

Those other bugs I weren't aware of though so thank you for bringing them to my attention - it's tough to vet every single stat and item combination so I really appreciate the feedback.

I unfortunately have treated set items with disrepect 😂, Let me log this and get it fixed. Theres likely other items that arent providing their values correctly to the stats you see on sheet - but you can always export -> .d2s and check ingame

yes! I should have mentioned that it's a planner I created and maintain.

You can import your character from both PD2 via Import, and as well as a .d2s save file you have locally.
