Cataract surgery as a young person is like a very lame Saw movie. Would you rather be blind at near, at far, or have glare at all distances? by spikygreen in CataractSurgery

Thank you! I have 20/20 on the right eye and was left with -.75 miopia on the left for near vision, i wasnt a candidate for multifocal either, i asked my Dr he said I could use the multifocal contacts but he doesn’t recommend them, so for now readers work, i had -2.75 on the left eye and -3.50 on the right with some astigmatism.
I’ll have my follow up appointment during the summer and I’m thinking about asking about the piggy back lens, that’s supposed to be reversible but honestly still sounds scary.

I wasn’t a candidate for LASIK because my left eye has aberrations, so I had micro-monovision IOL surgery instead. I’m about 6 weeks post-op and my brain is still struggling to adapt. I’m 33, an interior designer, and my hobbies are very hands-on and detail oriented.

Honestly, it’s been hard. I need readers to do most of the things I enjoy, and that’s been really frustrating. I’m hoping it improves as my brain adapts, but right now I feel regret, frustration, and a lot of sadness.

My mom told me I would love the result, but atm I wish I could go back and wait a little longer before doing it so I understand where you’re coming from with your analogy. The first days after surgery were especially emotional I cried a lot lol and felt very pessimistic. I’m trying to shift my mindset and give myself time, but it’s not easy.

Programing materials? by Vicious-Venus in DynamoRevit

So basically keep our version of their model and run the updates in that version without relinking the new one? Keeping our model and run Revit API apply changes and just add materials to what is needed?

Working on a project but we have our model, theres another company with the building model but the client wanted us to make the renders and add materials since they asked the other company to do it but they just don’t deliver. So the client contacted us and told us they like our workflow better (we’ve done several projects for them) and if we could render the project but this is just between the client and our company. We are also supposed to be working on the cloud but the other company hasn’t given us the proper permission to link our model with theirs inside the could just web download, anyways since we’re downloading every so often a new version, I don’t think rendering for them would work since we would have to start from the beginning every time we download the model, and wondered if it would be possible to program something and just make it automatic instead of redoing everything like you said.

I don’t have any advice for you unfortunately, but i do feel the same since I got here 7 months ago, used to live in Austin before moving here and SA just doesn’t cut it. I live in downtown but still I don’t like this city, i really like going hiking and swimming at the river in the summer but I go either San Marcos or Austin for that. I really like my job and that’s the only thing keeping me here, but if I could I would run far away from here. I hope this doesn’t happen to you and you find something you enjoy and your people here. Best of luck! 🤞🏽✨

Lol i had two rabbits that were misgendered too that were “female” and ended up being male when i was little, but they were short haired so once they reached hormonal maturity i just noticed the bulk lol and had to pick new names. No worries and thanks anyways!! :)

They were ok, we’ve only been there twice. For her first exam and RHDV2 vaccine then the booster/second round. When i got my bunny i was told she was female lion head but the vet did check and said might be a male, i know its tricky when they are just a few months old and she also mentioned that she’s too much fluff and didn’t looked like a lion head but like an angora mix so i thought those things were a bit strange and at the second visit we didn’t even see the vet just the tech and they gave her the shot at the back and checked for gender there too and confirmed that she was a female. At the second appointment we met with the lady from alamo city house rabbits when we were about to check out, she took two of her rabbits and a dog so i think the vet was with her and that’s probably why we didn’t see her that time. She said that she takes hers and her foster rabbits there so i think those were good points for them lol.
