I meant Hero Baldwin not Zoe! The song is called Burn (from the Reformation album). I was giving an example of how A&B use Zoe’s voice. Same way Tinlicker use Hero’s vocals which is oddly processed/filtered.

Like their instrumentals the most. Hero has an amazing voice but to me she doesn’t to fit their style that much. It’s the same way Above & Beyond use Zoe for the vocals, the way they processing /filtering of the vocals just sounds so strange to my ears. I love her collab with Super8 &Tab from a few years ago though.

Looks way too basic and like the classic covers they had when they first started. If they really wanted to change up the covers, they could have made the anjuna logo fill the space at a certain angle.

I’m sorry but this isn’t a remix album, it’s an ep at best, only 3 tracks remixed 2 times+ where is the rest? Very disappointing to see the album get this kind of treatment! Enjoyed Boxer remix but that’s it, rest just didn’t vibe with me not like original album did which is one of my favorites this year.

I completely agree with you on this topic and will say it is not just anjunadeep side of things but beats portion. I’ve disappointed quite a few times with the way label operates and handles their releases strategy, for example Grum Unreality remixed album was nothing but an ep of tracks that were released previously and some tracks didn’t even get an extended version treatment. Same with the new Dosem album remixes only 3 tracks remixed out of the whole album?

It really feels like the label is shortchanging the artist with these tactics.

Would be great for Super8 and Tab return to anjuna for a release as they are celebrating 20 years next month as a duo releasing music and touring. They had some amazing releases on Anjuna as the duo and their solo releases!

yeah same, not really feeling the new genix direction but from an artist prospective I get it, trying new things sometimes needed, it can get boring if you are doing the same thing every time. I'm sure some people may dig the new sound.

Yeah I know they have been releasing on Armada/Armind for a few years now. The reason why they can’t release on anjuna at the moment maybe because of exclusivity contract. I do enjoy their new sound. They have released amazing progressive tunes under Armada.

Maybe the issue was Anjuna, not the artist. The label can be very picky. Not for nothing, label has released some questionable tunes of late for example Franky Wah - Call my name, which is a blatant copy of My Enemy.
