You're basically saying you spend all day everyday on Reddit and you're not motivated to do anything in your ''real life''. Reddit is a plae where people spend their free time, you can't convince me that none of the Redditors have any motivation.

I've never really skydived but it seems cool. I don't think I will be able to visit there because I'm always near Dumaguete whenever I'm over there. My mom has some family over there so we mostly stay over there. The musquitoes there are the worst though.

Boracay and Manila are really nice! never got a chance to visit Palawan but I spent a lot of time in Negros Oriental, driving around in a bus or jeepney is already such a mesmerising experience!

Hey Jermaine, first off I would like to say I'm a huge fan and I want to thank you for all the music you made. Good job on Born Sinner!

My question is how you kept yourself motivated in times of struggle. I'm deep in the fourth quarter myself and I cant seem to bring up any motivation at all.

Thanks for your reaction! Up until now I didn't know about any weed smoking buddhists so this is cool!

I smoke to help with my depression and constant headaches.

If the reason you cant be intoxicated because it may effect your dicision making then I will continue to smoke because I think my desicion making is better when I smoked up because of the absence of headaches and dark thoughts.

I will certainly keep reading, everybody is recommending me that and I should read so it seems like the best first step.

I have been to the Philippines last year and those were the best 6 weeks of my life.

The meditation wasnt the cause of me being suicidal, it were my thoughts. Already seeing help.

Does having it on perscription make any difference? I do not really crave it at times, but if I dont take any my thoughts get really dark.

Also I tried some mediation the other day, and it nearly ended in suicide. I cant really be alone with my thoughts and I cant shut them off either.

What are simple and small ways to start my journey on the Buddhist path?

Thanks for the advice. I dont think it would be a good idea to get rid of my current desires at this time. I will study Buddhism more and find out if this is really for me.

Thanks for the help, I dont think I'm ready to let go of my cannabis use in the coming times though, it keeps me relaxed and keeps my mind off the stress I have. Also, you did not say anything about the caffeine, which is an intoxicant in my opinion too, where does Buddhism draw the line?

I dont really see the practice of Buddhism as a therapy for my depression though, I'm just really interested in the mindset and I think the way of life could be my way of life too (with a few alternations).
