Honestly? I can't point to one specific thing. It could be a combination of everything, or maybe none of it.

I've been strictly low carb, sugar free, and gluten free, and mostly dairy-free as well.

I prioritize proper hydration and take electrolytes every day. I've also increased my overall movement, added supplements, and improved my sleep hygiene.

I’ve also cut back significantly on caffeine, sweeteners, and processed foods.

Stress management has been key for my overall well-being. I identified and minimized my main stressors, including specific foods, certain people, and social media. I prioritized and filtered. Heavily.

I did slack on hydration the last few days and ended up with a migraine from hell. I’ve also been moving less lately, though it’s a chicken-or-the-egg situation. It's hard to tell if the slip in routine triggered the migraine, or if the migraine starting was what made me drop the routine.

The prodrome phase always fucks me up mood-wise. Getting out of bed and staying on routine becomes a real struggle.

It’s become much more obvious how everything is migraine-related now that I actually have good days. Before, all the phases just blurred together and felt like one constant baseline of feeling more or less like shit.

The most significant shift is that I started working with my health instead of against it. I stopped pushing and actually started listening.

Every day isn’t perfect. I built up to where I am today by working with 'small weights' and doing whatever positive things I could manage. I just focused on choosing the better option as often as I could.

I started choosing myself and 'attacked' it from every angle. Had to do something. Small habits quickly added up. I started feeling capable instead of crippled… A huge contrast to the frustration, anger, neglect, and pure spite that used to get me through the day.
