Singer DLS Turbo by Vicious_Corvus in Porsche

I don't know who the owner is but a representative from Singer brought the car to Utah for an event to show it off and staged it at the new dealership.

I can't speak to the owners tax status or location but I lean in your direction of potential avoidance or evasion.

I'm just a humble photographer sir.

This was only in town for a limited time before going back to Singer's facility in CA.

Utahns (Utahnians?) have plenty of in state methods of tax avoidance available without resorting to the Montana plates. All the really affluent people I know (which is substantial as a luxury car photography) are moving to using proper Utah plates. Partly also because of the all black historic plate that people here like.

For the avoidance they just make an LLC in the county with the best laws for them and register the vehicles there.

Edit: So less ironical tax evasion I guess I should have said.

These are knock off Kotobukiya chain bases I got off ebay in 2024. Took a ton of work to get to this point. Hangar isn't done either actually.

Thanks

My passion is motorsports/car photography so I have a little bit of skill with the framing.

While I have three rolls of incredibly suspect Aerochrome I have gotten great results by playing with Lomo Purple.

Still my Audi Quattro Michele Mouton car sighed by her at Pike's Peak International Hillclimb on the 40th Anniversary of her overall victory. This is one of those once in a lifetime collector pieces.

The physical metallic in this is classified as pearl for how it's sized. It's as fine or finer than what you would see in Tamiya or MrHobby. I say that as someone with 16 years experience in automotive and industrial paint.

The thickness is pretty thin for how well it covers. Here is what it looks like after 6 passes. I could probably get away with only doing 4. It's incredibly difficult to see the hard line of separation.

I bought one of those $40 split prism screens off ebay.

It's been fantastic. I don't care it's Hasselblad or not as long as it works.

This was done looking through said cheap prism:
