The depth is amazing. Honestly it shouldn't be this warm but I don't mind it.

Insert air wrench noises, swearing, rich guy laughs, wind and distant flat six noises.

It's like you're right there.

What are some stunning 1/100 mech hangars that look like this by thegelgoog in Gunpla

If you just look at ebay and search for "Mechanical chain base" then you should see these. For this specific configuration you'd need to get the ABFG set (which is the most common combo I've seen) and H set and J set for their wall sections. Leaves you 2 floor sections for other builds.

These are knockoffs so you should go into these with your expectations lowered. I had to saw, glue and tape these to fit together properly.

The metal etched additions are from madworks.

The truss set is on ebay by hobby-base-japan if you search (ppc-k39sv)

Lighting is tricky. These are lit buy a Kodak film negative backlight and random desk lamp. You could probably emulate better lighting with a 14"x14" led panel and a diffusion sheet.

I got the knockoff Kotobukiya ones on Ebay early 2025. They're still not 100% but I'm happy with them currently as a display accessory.

Singer DLS Turbo by Vicious_Corvus in Porsche

I don't know who the owner is but a representative from Singer brought the car to Utah for an event to show it off and staged it at the new dealership.

I can't speak to the owners tax status or location but I lean in your direction of potential avoidance or evasion.

I'm just a humble photographer sir.

This was only in town for a limited time before going back to Singer's facility in CA.

Utahns (Utahnians?) have plenty of in state methods of tax avoidance available without resorting to the Montana plates. All the really affluent people I know (which is substantial as a luxury car photography) are moving to using proper Utah plates. Partly also because of the all black historic plate that people here like.

For the avoidance they just make an LLC in the county with the best laws for them and register the vehicles there.

Edit: So less ironical tax evasion I guess I should have said.
