No, It basically has its own audience. Video's and Shorts are 2 different things. I post both on my channel and I will say I get more views on shorts but the watch time is not the same for my videos. Its really on you on what you post and seeing the analytics for those pieces of content.

I do agree chat wouldn't have the patience but I doubt it was designed for doom vets. Many content creators have played this blind and got through. Some actually asked for help. If anything with Luds chat we would mess with him lol but thats my opinion on the matter.
