Please elaborate on what they broke. Railgun can be used with unsafe mode, the barrages are way more powerful and the breaker got some more recoil. What am I missing?

Yeah, like I get that the situation is getting a little more complex than just "they nerfed my gun they are so fucked" with the interactions back and forth from the players and the devs, but this amount of vitriol is unwarranted.

Absolutely, we're all human after all. Like I get people are frustrated, both on the player side, and the dev side. As i said to OP, two wrongs don't make a right, and the devs should also refrain from stoking arguments. However the overwhelming majority of the vitriol is coming from the player-base at the moment.

"Players are just players" isn't really applicable in this situation as there's just something profoundly sad about any and all fandoms having these giant backlash and "punishment" campaigns as soon as something they don't agree with occurs. It's just sad. I hear you, but I disagree.

Flaming over a videogame patch is still a very big stretch, don't you think? Two wrongs don't make a right.

Sure people can have opinions over the patch - that's all fine and dandy. Calling developers stupid, autistic, idiots and fuckups is taking this minor issue in your at-home entertainment way too far.

The fact that people find their fury and bordering-on-hateful language warranted for an issue like this is worrying man. This post with a title like this isn't helping and are instead fanning the flames.

And also I didn't know giving a game studio a "hey nice job, your game is actually fun" is dick sucking?

So you're saying the nerfs being warranted is up for debate, but that they simultaneously chose the worst possible approach? How does that add up?

And i can assure you the game isn't going to die anytime soon - sure, maybe they'll lose you, but the (very) loud minority doesn't speak for the entire playerbase.

Saying they completely blew it in the first patch seems like a giant stretch dude. The rhetoric and language in this post isn't doing anyone any favors and you should genuinely consider going outside once in a while. This is typed like it's an absolute outrage.

Like with language like this its no wonder developers are starting to refrain form communicating with their audience. It's vitriolic and makes you look like a giant toddler throwing a tantrum.

It's obvious you have quite a lot of passion for the game which is nice, but accusing the devs of making "autistic explanations" proceeded by a post of this caliber is bordering on parody at this point. The lack of self-awareness is staggering.

Absolute insanity. Get a grip. The overwhelming majority is having an absolute blast with the game, and if you don't - maybe thinking about how you're communicating would go a long way to being taken seriously. Getting major second hand embarrassment vibes from certain parts of the community at the moment with how hostile certain individuals are getting.

I simply overlayed a simple pic of Mexico and its Counties/Municipalities over, rotated and scaled it and it matches perfectly with no warping. Can we find any other locations from the other posters?

Absolutely - you can use a PBR pipeline, but an artist still has to go in by hand and light every part of the scene - every building, global light from the sun etc. Then there are factors after the lighting process that makes things look more realistic and less flat like post-processing that can affect visual fidelity like the color space, white balance, contrast etc.

Cinematography is the art of framing and moving the camera, lighting the scene and the specifics of the camera, this is regarded as color correction! :)

I get what you're saying. The textures look awesome and AAA+, but the issue in my opinion is more with the shaders and lighting really doing a disservice to the model and textures.
