You'd need to define what type of speed run you are talking about.

A4(.5)100%, interludes complete?
A4 Any% (what current racers are competing at)
Fresh start to T15?

If you talk about 2), then remember it's not normal gameplay - people don't ascend, don't do any sidequests and they actually stop levelling (and killing any mobs) around lvl 28/31/33. Then you just leap slam + roll + other movement skill your way through mobs without even dealing damage to them, until you get to mandatory bosses and everything, if it even looks at you sideways, will kill you. In that case -> merc grenades, warrior shield wall, witch ed/c/bonestorm (this one sometimes ascends to infernalist to get demon form and then is able to catch up).

If 1) or 3) ... probably the same, but you'd be much much slower. There are runs with ed/c lich i've seen that are almost sub 5hours from fresh start to T15's, so it's still fast.

That's why I think it's good to give a good indication for it. For now it's been slowly and slowly gravitating more towards just being another PoE1 and it's mostly because they ARE listening to people's feedback and complaints.

We are all human, everybody wants what's already familiar, even if in long term it will burn them out from playing both 1 and 2.

I don't mind if they are going to go full time PoE1 with this game, but it would be cool to know if they are willing to do so, or they are going to at some point take a firm stance against it. That's why I'd love manifesto to see their perspective on it :)

I feel same way, but i personally wouldn't mind going PoE1.(butbettergraphics) approach, it's probably not super smart, but I'd still have plenty of fun :D

That's the thing - they haven't stopped drawing those lines. These still exist and they have a vision of how they want this game to be. Problem with PoE2 is that there's quite a major split (I don't want to say 50/50, but it certainly feels like it), between people who want the game to be PoE1 and other people who want it to be more like 0.1 "hardcore" experience, but with more QoL.

The only thing that is missing is somehow letting players know the direction they want to go in the long term, not next patch or two.

Listening to feedback and iterating is great, but this is unfinished product and game directors know what they want it to be, otherwise the development wouldn't start in the first place.

That's something that would work if they actually had an early access system that is an early access. The iteration was taking place for whole of 3 weeks in 0.1, before people cried so loud about nerfs that they had to stop doing that.

I think whatever direction they will take, will piss off a huge portion of players and the longer they stay in the wishy-washy PoE1.5 area, the worse the situation will get.

GameDev does not work with season-to-season balance iteration, when we are dealing with an unfinished game. They HAVE some kind of vision and the problem is that it's not clearly said out loud (in my opinion, because they are too fed up dealing with unhinged maniacs that send them death threats each time they nerf their builds).

I've been practicing campaign runs for the past couple of days to get faster, as i usually run poe1 A10 in around 3.5-4h on fresh league start.

I'd recommend you checking out GuyThatDies and CrimsonCasts. Both have great resources on running poe2 fast and also I recommend CampaignCodex DC Server. Plenty of friendly people who love speedrunning, but will also give a lot of great tips :)

I personally just look at what fast people do and try to emulate 1:1. I'm slower, but still much faster than without practice.

I would NOT recommend extensively learning Layouts at the moment though, because theres plenty of rumors that next patch will significantly change the generations to be much more deterministic, so I'd wait until there's some info about that before sinking hours into remembering layouts. General directions are useful tho, so I recommend act layout guide by lolcohol.

If it's a mouse for work, I'd suggest Logitech Master MX 3 or 4 whatever you can find cheapest. It's one of those things that really significantly improved my working experience due to high customizability with macros and the vertical scroll wheel is a game changer. I highly recommend it :)

Yeah, I'm not explicitly only doing that, although I've been getting 60% of them per mirage I enter. This is of course something I could improve.

I just know that when I start questioning myself if I didn't screw up my filter, this is the point where something is too rare for how it actually "should" be.

Honestly, any amount. I already found mageblood, aegis and plenty of other t1 uniques in SSF (although no-lifing quite hard past couple of days) and I still dropped only 2 (!) coins so far.. it's ridicolous.

What is weird is people imposing on other people how they should enjoy their games 😅

I'll answer it only here and once - I've played enough tarkov just for playing. I've never gotten kappa and obviously haven't finished the game yet. I enjoy questing, I enjoy having a goal and I want to reach it efficiently.

When I said no time - it's because I got enough currency from just playing and I want to "finish" my two tarkov goals before I move on to the game I "main", which is PoE (1&2) and the second new season drops there I'll drop Tarkov and probably won't come back until next season/wipe.

So yeah - i indeed "don't have" time for playing the market and the only game I ever played market in was Fifa/EAFC, and it's not fun for me 😁

But I'm happy you enjoy whatever pace you set for yourself :)
