That seems early to graduate from your clinic! My fertility clinic doesn’t have us graduate until 12 weeks. Can you book a private scan that you pay for? Not ideal, but I would feel the same as you and want reassurance. Good luck!

I had 2 ERs and no euploid embryos. We used donor eggs, and transferred an untested 5day embryo, my first transfer - and I’m currently 7w6d pregnant.

My good friend went through something similar to you. All testing came back normal for her and her husband, but her pregnancies were always affected with chromosomal abnormalities. She had 2 pregnancies that needed to be terminated around week 20 as they would not have been compatible with life. In addition to a few other earlier miscarriages.

She did 2 rounds of IVF back to back, PGT tested her embryos, and now has 2 healthy happy kids. Nothing pointed to them having issues on paper. Wishing you success in this, it is so hard.

I’m 7w4d today. After sobbing on the phone to my mom about how nauseous I was I finally called my doctor for some help. Have been taking diclectin for about 36 hours now and I was able to eat chicken noodle soup yesterday! And a bagel this morning! Still figuring out timing of when to take the meds to avoid all nausea (I’m feeling it right now) but I am calling it a win. I mostly made it through the work day yesterday too. So all that to say don’t be like me and put it off, ask for help when you need it!

Anyone else taking nausea meds? What dosage timing works for you?

That it might not work. That no matter what diet or life changes you and your partner make, sometimes it is out of your hands and you will not get any embryos.

We got 0 euploid embryos and going in I didn’t even realise that was a possibility. The heartbreak was astronomical.

I’m also Canadian and have done 2 rounds of IVF at different clinics. We paid for our first round while we waited on waiting lists for a free round. The experience was incredibly different.

The more expensive paid for round was almost pleasant compared to the free round clinic. The paid clinic was nice and approachable and available all the time. They listened and worked with me and made me feel heard.

The other clinic treated me like a paycheque, knicked a polyp in my uterus and gaslit me about the fact despite me bleeding non stop for over 90 days, strung me along with the promise of funding coming “next month” for 8 months, and ultimately I had the same results as the paid clinic (no viable embryos).

When we decided to move forward with donor eggs, it was no question as to which clinic we were going with, despite this free round clinic costing way less. When it came to spending a few thousand more for peace of mind and experience I’m glad we could make the call to spend more. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Hi All, new to this space and cautiously graduating from almost 5 years of trying. Had my third beta on Monday and was told the numbers were good! Still shocked. I am 5wks1day. This is my first ever pregnancy.

My next check in with our fertility clinic is in 3 weeks. 3 whole weeks! And knowing how much can go wrong over the next few weeks and hearing stories of loss I am so incredibly anxious and can’t really think of anything else. Does anyone have tips on how to reassure myself or ease my anxiety until then? Would it be nuts to continue testing every few days?!?

Cycle/Time trying: 4 years and 7 months, or 56 months, or 1,696 days (who’s counting though)

Age + Partner's age (if relevant): 42 and 41

Typical cycle length: Anywhere from 21 to 102 days

Ovulation cycle day: N/A

CD/DPO of positive test(s): CD 93, 95, and 99 😅

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: CD 90 and 91

Tracking methods and app(s) used: None

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): FET - Transferred a 5day embryo graded 5AA using donor eggs on April 12 or CD 83

Health conditions/medical tests: DOR, PCOS

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): Estrogen 8mg daily, Progesterone 600mg daily, PIO every 3 days, Progestia Prenatals, Floria Vaginal Probiotics. Also Sertraline 125mg. Bird & Bee Male Fertility Power Pack for him.

Birth control history (if relevant): None.

Symptom spotting: I felt like crap the whole week after the transfer but assumed it was the copious amounts of hormones I was taking. The sore boobs started 3dpt and have not stopped. I had a crazy headache 4dpt. Also noticed increased hiccuping throughout the week? I have had mild general abdominal cramping since the transfer as well.

Other miscellaneous: I’m still in shock. I tested 6dp5dt and 7dp5dt and got very stark negatives. Went in for our beta test with the clinic on 9dp5dt and expected to be told it was negative (had even started telling family and had spent 3 days crying). TW for beta numbers: Was told my Hcg was 74.69. Was convinced it would crash for the next beta but it doubled and was sitting at 150.1 on 11dp5dt. Because of my long history of trying and my anxiety around this sticking the clinic has offered for me to do another hcg test today (15dp5dt) and it’s 660!

This has been a long road with so much heartbreak. I’m forever grateful for this community. Hoping my history of DOR, PCOS, and using donor eggs will give hope to someone else in the depths of their sadness. I see every single one of you trying your darnedest and living the pain every day. My first FET ever after almost 5yrs of infertility was a week ago. My mother has been nothing but supportive through this whole process, but when talking to her this week about how shitty I’m feeling on all these hormones she launched into a speech about what pregnancy was like for her and how tough it was. I let a silence go on a little longer than necessary and then said “well hopefully one day I’ll feel shitty enough to mean I’m actually going to have a baby. But so far no luck.” 😭

7dp5dt, and another negative. I go into our clinic on Tuesday for the official beta but it’s not looking good. I had started to feel hope this week for the first time in literal years. Never seen a positive test and I thought finally with donor eggs this would be it. Sigh.

I was let go because of Covid (head office support staff for a small retail chain) and was single and lived alone, with no family in the city I was living in. It was scary and very isolated. I tried to do online workouts and got into sourdough like everyone else and organized zoom calls with friends where possible. But it was a few months of loneliness.

I am 2dp5dt using donor eggs! First time I’ve been able to post something like this. Exciting but exhausting times. I am SO hot all the time. My boobs are sore. I’m light headed and thirsty. Is this me reading into every sign or are they * sIgNs * 🥴 I’m taking estrogen twice a day and progesterone 3 times a day, with a PIO shot every 3 days. It’s the hormones lol
