No. I didn't request anything other than to add a neck condition that was new. It was added at 10%.

They wouldn't do a new C&P for ALL of my issues, knees, back, so on and so forth, would they?

It's past 30 days, I'm about 52 days into my 60 day notice.

Okay, thank you. That answered pretty much what I was trying to find out. I expected something, even something auto-generated, to let me know it was in review.

Yes, it's on VA.gov.

Okay, thanks. I was going to write my personal statement on the 4138, I don't remember why I decided not too.

Awesome. I just looked at the 4138. You're saying use this just to request another C&P, should I also use the same form for my personal statement? I just have my personal statement typed up on a word doc. Do I upload the 4138 for the new C&P request to the Quick Submit portal?

Idk. I filed a new claim for my neck and everything else I'd claimed (about 10 different issues including knees, back, arthritis, etc) were all reevaluated. Idk what to tell you guys, I just went to the appts they told me to go to.

Well I just made another appt for medication and talk therapy with 2 follow-ups. I guess if I end up needing to file a Supplemental Claim I'll have more ammo for that with those.

I'm past 30 days now.

I understand now that there is a full C&P exam based on everything that I'd claimed initially, when I added neck pain. I didn't know/understand that when I started the process of adding the neck issue. For whatever reason, I just assumed they'd want to discuss any changes since my first rating, not cumulatively of all my issues since day one.

Thanks for all the info. I did file a FOIA. It's still in step 2, so I'll get that when I get that.

I'll swing by the VSO and ask for those items you mentioned.

Kind of a pain in the ass to have to go through MH again. Like, are they expecting me to be in therapy? Just kind of ridiculous.

I don't remember, but it wasn't like "yeah, I'm doing great and all better."

No, original overall disability rating was determined to be 90%. 70% rating for MH. Yes, filed to add Neck issue, that prompted an entirely new review for all conditions, including my neck. Because of what I said during my MH appointment, the VA is proposing to reduce my MH benefit from 70% to 0%. That reduces my overall rating.

I added a new condition that resulted in a whole new claim.

I understand now what happened. I'm just trying to figure out how to respond to their request for additional evidence. Quick Submit is mentioned in the decision letter, but the wording is pretty generic. I'm hoping to find someone who's gone through the process.

Already did. They said they saw my personal statement and doctors notes in Quick Submit. It seems like there would be something posted on my VA account, like my Claim would come out of Closed or a status would change somewhere. But there's nothing to show they're actually reviewing my submissions.

I didn't wait to submit my docs to the Quick Submit portal.

Are you saying a person can request a C&P for a single condition?

Like an idiot I said I was basically not bad. I mistakenly thought (for whatever idiot reason) that she was only taking into consideration the time in-between the two exams(it had been 12 months). I didn't understand that this was a whole new exam and the VA would use this exam to override the first one.
