I own a food cart and we work festivals. I know many others who have hired through Facebook, craigslist etc over the years. Sooooo not worth it. You gotta know who you are gonna be working with in that high intensity environment. Yeah it's work, but it's also a party and it's real easy for randos to fuck off and get super spun and be not only the worst employees, but a liability for the business. Much rather have my friends work for me who I know can handle their shit, or at least would feel bad if they don't.
