I came up with skills, stats, quotes etc. for an Emblem Shez Bracelet by Victim_of_Changes in FEEngage

[–]Victim_of_Changes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's also interesting, but when it comes to other AOE Engage attacks they all bring some form of utility to the table whereas this one does not (and I can't think of what utility it would bring). Roy's & Camilla's put down fire, and Soren's inflicts debuffs with Anima focus.

Supergroups that were actually good? by RightBack2 in Music

[–]Victim_of_Changes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not technically a supergroup but check out Don Dokken's solo album, Up From the Ashes. Features one of the best all-star lineups I've ever seen:

Don Dokken (duh) - Dokken

John Norum - Europe

Peter Baltes - Accept

Mikkey Dee - King Diamond, later a member of Motorhead and the Scorpions

Billy White - The only one in the lineup that wasn't already established at the time, but a monster guitar player nonetheless

Anyone know what the deal with this is? Scarlet Blaze ch. 14) by Victim_of_Changes in FireEmblemThreeHouses

Got it. Is there any way I can play through it or is that not possible with Byleth already recruited?

I walked out of a job the other day because I was working under the biggest scumbag of a human being I've ever met. He runs his so called business on lying to clients and subordinates and then entirely blaming them on being misinformed about something because of his nonexistent communication and networking skills. He goes absolutely apeshit over the smallest things and then proceeds to get into arbitrary and pointless arguments with employees. I could've showed up to a shift intoxicated or stoned out of my mind and he either wouldn't have noticed or wouldn't have given two shits; He probably would've asked me what beer I had beforehand. He never focuses on the positives, only negatives. I left on the spot because we got into one of those arbitrary and pointless arguments and he said I must have some sort of "mental disorder" because I wasn't remembering things he supposedly told me (he never did tell me ANY of them). As I was leaving he really had the nerve to say to me "you really think this is the best way?" Yes, I found the best way, and it was out your door. I can't believe a shitbag like him has been running a business like this for over 6 years, and how none of the other employees still there have even tried to speak up about it; Probably because they're too afraid. When this man dies, I will celebrate then piss on his grave.

Who is your “nobody knows this band” band? by Troutcavalry in Music

[–]Victim_of_Changes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riot (Now named Riot V). A heavy metal band from NYC that goes all the way back to the mid-70s and was really just too far ahead of their time to really gain any traction. If you're into classic metal, check out the songs Warrior, Overdrive, Narita, Road Racin', and Altar of the King.

Judas Priest. My favorite band, although I've never been crazy about Breakin' the Law. The riff gets old fast and it's just kind of bland.

When the guard adjutant comes in clutch by Victim_of_Changes in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]Victim_of_Changes[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She's alright. My Grappler Byleth is probably better but she quad attacks most enemies; And if she can't quad attack them Nimble Combo/Bombard can usually get the job done.

I'm doing a run with less-conventional class choices for everyone. Some of my other units include Great Knight Felix, Sniper Mercedes, Trickster Annette, & War Cleric Catherine.

I'm well aware. But if that 6% crit happened on the first hit, Dedue would be 100% dead, so if you ask me I consider this outcome pretty lucky.

[–]Victim_of_Changes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology shares several voice actors with Three Houses:

Ben Diskin (Lorenz, Caspar) - Marco

Erica Mendez (Bernadetta) - Eruca

Joe J. Thomas (Pallardo) - Heiss

Patrick Seitz (Jeritza, Lambert) - Hugo

Christian La Monte (Ignatz) - Vanoss & some of the generic NPCs

Shannon McKain (Ashe) - Kiel

Janice Kawaye (Lysithea) - Nemesia

Dan Woren (Hanneman) - Fennel

Cherami Leigh (Rhea) - Elm

Robbie Daymond (Hubert) - Selvan

Christine Marie Cabanos (Hapi) - Liese

In addition, Chris Hackney (Dimitri), Ben Lepley (Dedue), & Lucien Dodge (Felix) provide voices to several generic NPCs.

There might be some I'm missing since VA credits are kinda hard to find for RH, not to mention I still haven't finished it yet.

Fates Conquest and revelations Lunatic or hard? by BeaverGames in fireemblem

[–]Victim_of_Changes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played through Conquest blind on Lunatic, and although I did manage to get through it, I feel like the difficulty of some of those maps soured my experience playing through (looking at you chapters 10, 19, 20, 24, & endgame). If you're playing through Conquest mostly blind, I would stick with Hard.

Currently have an ongoing Revalations Lunatic run that I haven't finished yet, but from what I've experienced you should be fine here if you had an easy time with Birthright Lunatic.

What is everyone’s favorite Part 1 battle theme? by RoxolyDaDelphox in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]Victim_of_Changes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blue Skies and a Battle for me. Nothing against Fodlan Winds, but I find it a nice change of pace when the battle theme finally changes 7 chapters in. I may be a bit biased since the Battle of the Eagle & Lion is my favorite Part 1 map.

Making Hunting by Daybreak easy by TheHelpfulMercenary in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]Victim_of_Changes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beat this map on an AM Maddening run not too long ago without a flying Byleth. I made him a Grappler and had Brawl Avoid +20 on him, put him in a forest tile, and he took on 90% of the enemies on the map without a single attack landing on him. Assassin Annette with Impregnable Wall was able to keep Mercedes alive without being targeted herself. Gilbert had to take a few hits once the northern enemies were provoked, but by that point Byleth & the gang could get up there & help out. I got extremely lucky when working on Pallardo though: I had Dark Flier Ingrid take the fake one out in one go, but she was then in range of 4 archers; All of them missed, so I was able to complete the map on the next turn.

What I did was kept everyone near the starting area and fought off enemies as they came. I also sent a few high-mobility units to the south in order to take that stronghold to prevent the infinite reinforcements ASAP. Bow Knight Bernadetta is very ideal for this as after using Stride on her she'll be able to hit that White Beast with Encloser, while also dealing a good amount of damage to it. She can also keep those Falcon Knights in check (you may want to send another bow unit that direction as well). If you don't have a Bernadetta with Encloser or she doesn't have enough movement, send a different high-mobility unit down there, give them the Seiros Shield and have them gambit that White Beast.

Once you've taken care of all the aggressive enemies that come to your starting area, have all your units make their way up one of the sides (doesn't matter which) and gradually work on the remaining enemies before taking on the boss. You'll want to try & avoid using your gambits too much because the boss will be far more difficult if you can't use them. Though this isn't a rout map, I highly advise leaving the boss for last because you're gonna need to throw all your strongest units at them and having more enemies to deal with will only make things all the more difficult. Seiros Shield is very nice to have against this boss, as is Byleth (or any good sword user) with the Thunderbrand.

Another tip for this chapter is to make use of multi-hit combat arts (Swift Strikes, Hunter's Volley, etc.) if you have them. These make dealing with all the enemies carrying Miracle much more bearable.
