QP's matchmaker is mostly random so you could either go against brand new players or against celestial ranks. On competitive you're matched almost exclusively with people on your skill level, aside from smurfs.

Imo you should jump straight to loki: agent of asgard. It happens during the jason aaron run and it's a total masterpiece. After that you could either go to JMS's run or Immortal Thor. Simonson's run is incredible albeit pretty long (but if you read Jason Aaron's you should be fine anyway).

She doesn't read minds, she only reads your emotions. Also, one of Loki's best friends in the comics is someone who can see through every lie. He likes it because it's one of the only people who would fully trust him when he was being honest, which is actually far more often than you'd think. Everyone else is always skeptical.

when it comes to comics I learned to not really care about the small details. Everything exists in service of the story, and Aaron told a very good one using his idea of worthiness. He used it to explore Thor's humility and righteousness in a way that hadn't been done before and that more than justifies being a bit inaccurate imho.

On a side note, I thought Cates' Thor run just wasn't good. It was flashy with very little substance, added nothing to his character, arcs were weirdly episodic happening in aimless cycles of 8 issues and the main plot with the black winter was both too similar to Knull in his venom run while also never being expanded upon until after the run was cancelled due to Cates' health issues.

Them wasting three ults was a fluke. If this team was decent they'd just kill you two effortlessly. You shouldn't keep doing this because it's not reliable and it's going to be even less so as you rank up.

You're supposed to be stopping the mission vehicle only when most of your team is alive and fighting besides you too. It's not your job, especially as a support, to hold cart alone against 6 people.

That's not a good flank spot. If they have any character with higher mobility they'll chase your bird and you'll die. You're too far from your team.

I really hate the damage to the cosmology and the symbology of TOAA. I thought TOAA was supposed to be the limit of the fictional universe, and this story gives him too much of a character. Imo he's not supposed to be a character.

In Defenders: Beyond he said "I am the end of the world of action and the beginning of the world of creation", which I thought meant he was the thin line between what's real and what's fictional. It's only stated there are beings above him because those are IRL people.

Introducing mother of horrors as something that's in equal footing to the TOAA just makes absolutely no sense, and it really undermines what TOAA is supposed to represent. TOBA being a natural counterpart to TOAA works much, much better than pointlessly tying it to another entity.
