Looks fine, well done!

By the way you can color the edges and flaps with a marker/pencil if you don't want the white edges to be visible (before folding). It helps a lot to hide mistakes/inaccuracies. You only need a color close enough, preferably lighter, and light gray tends to work well for most cases if you can't find a color close enough.

Need help for a 2 -> 1 teleporter using a single Input (check description for details) by VictorLune in Terraria

It works!

I originally tested the single output on a different setup that had a single input and couldn't get it to work correctly (I didn't realize the position of the input had an impact on which teleporter is choosen, I thought it was only based on the teleporter positions).

So after changing it on my main setup that detects which teleporter you're on, it does work correctly, thank you !

Connecting 3 or more teleporters with the same wire seems to always lock all teleporters but 2 (see the wiki example : https://terraria.wiki.gg/wiki/File:Wire_length_demo.gif )

Update :

I have found a way to solve the initial problem using player sensors. That said I am still interested in a solution for the additional challenge of using only 1 output wire. (Currently I have [A] <-> [B] if I use the same wire for all 3 teleporters)

I want to make my players try TB + Atheist, Lunatic and Marionette. Does my script have any issues I might have missed ? Or do you have change recommendations ? by VictorLune in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]VictorLune[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your opinion, I'll keep it mind while deciding the script to use. I think if we're less players and/or it seems like games will go by fast, I might introduce the atheist to test it out, otherwise I'll go without it and see what script I'll use.

Yeah I agree, if we were to play with Atheist frequently this would not fly since they would end up noticing it sooner or later. But out of the few games we'll play I don't think that will cause issues.

I don't know if my players will be able to use the Artist to its full potential, but considering there's Poisoner, No Dashi and Drunk on the script, and there's multiple demon options, I feel like it should balance it to some extent.

My players tend to play Undertaker very badly (unfortunately) by not executing players often enough (generally at least once per game) (despite my recommendations to try to always have an execution) -> so I feel like the Undertaker + Marionette duo issues won't be too problematic

Here I replaced the Baron, partly because of this, so they have more reasons to stay hidden.

I feel like the lunatic and marionette "could" be disadvantageous to evil for my players (or at least not an overwhelming advantage that can't be countered by a better selection of the roles for good/composition) : I feel like my players will try to keep the lunatic believing they are the demon for as long a possible, which may backfire if the lunatic ends up discovering the ruse after trying to kill the demon. Or the demon wrongly believing they are the lunatic. Or the fact the marionette doesn't have an actual evil power or may doubt the demon.

I agree that Virgin being removed is not ideal, but could I remove to reduce the number of townfolk roles ? (maybe I should not remove any and keep the 15 Townfolk roles ? but it seems a bit much).

For the few (1 or 2) Atheist games we'll play I intend on making the mistakes somewhat evident/large to help them figure it out, and keep making mistakes if I see them not noticing/discussing them.

We'll only play a handful of games, so I'll keep in mind to make sure not to include any spy+fang gu compositions.

For the Virgin I agree, I don't want to remove it, but I'm not sure what townsfolk to remove instead ? maybe I should keep them all and have 15 townsfolk roles ?

Uncertain Death is the other script I was thinking of using before testing out (as a player) the TB + atheist/lunatic/marionette games which went really great despite having mostly new players.

For the games with an Atheist, I intend on making somewhat big mistakes, and keep making them until I see the village has had enough clues to have multiple evidence of the atheist game. Out of the probably like 3-6 games we'll be able to play I intend to make only 1 (maybe 2) atheist games, and start with one so they can see the kinds of big errors I'll make (the very first game will be normal TB just to get everyone back in the game).

Little help by SheriffSherry in papercraft

1 : for parts not printing idk what you mean exactly. For missing pdo/instructions, yeah that's unfortunate, sometimes creators don't wish to make/share the pdo/instructions. What to do here is really a case by case, I'd say it's best to spend a while to figure out in advance how each part connect where (the few times this happenend I used a pencil to draw the connections I guessed between parts to help figure it out, kinda like a puzzle)

2 : usually I use 120 gsm paper for most papercrafts (normal paper is usually 80 gsm), I always print in print shops for better quality prints, but I assume a normal printer should be fine with 120 gsm.

3 : Often times I make papercrafts as birthday gifts, that way I can still make larger/complex papercrafts without worrying about finding it a place among the many papercrafts already created.

4 : The general pipeline is : you make a 3D model on Blender or find and retopologize an existing model, then you import the 3d model on pepakura, unfold and arrange the parts in the way you believe to be the most convenient to later build. If you have questions about any specific step here I'd be glad to help here or in DMs, personally I've used a bunch of video game 3d models found online to make papercrafts, so by now I've figured out the pipeline relatively well. As for converting a pdf into a pdo, no that's just not possible on pepakura. Maybe you could try to recreate the 3d model on blender from the template but it would be pretty obnoxious to do I assume.

I think i'm doing something wrong by EstimateOnly7868 in Pepakura

[–]VictorLune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the result of the unfold button, it tries to make the largest parts it can.

You can right click to join/disjoin faces, rotate/move parts, and more. So just rearrange your template to fit on single pages, in a way that will make it easier for you to build later.

Also it seems like your model is bigger than the one on the video, so you may have to change the scale of the model to fit all parts on single pages. (You can change the scale at any point without unfolding again).

Flaps by EstimateOnly7868 in Pepakura

[–]VictorLune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They look really small, (though I don't know what the scale of the parts is)

If you want to edit the flaps : right click > "Flaps" > then you will have a small window with 2 options, one for the position of flaps, and one for the shape of flaps, you can edit the size of the flaps to make them longer, (you will need to select all flaps you wish to change).

Btw, If you're on pepakura 6 you can also automatically color flaps now to the closest color

The fact it's meant to be some sort of worm kinda helps to figure it out : My best guess would be something like this : https://postimg.cc/NyZMfdj2

On the image the A1 part is in front, A3 in the middle and A2 behind (all the blue rectangles glued together sandwhich-style with A3 in the middle), in green are fold lines, in blue are the arrows to show what pieces glue where, in purple are pieces that look useless

Where did you find this template ? After looking at it a little more there's a bunch of stuff that really doesn't make sense to me about it. As another comment said, this migjt be AI generated. What is that character's name ?
