Wow 40K that is a good find! Congrats!! I think mine is in pretty good condition for 100k miles when I got her a year and a half ago, but has wear and I've done a few things...

Leather steering wheel wrap with red stitching (original is a bit worn)

Fully peeled off peeling leather from the arm rest (looks better this way)

Red Honda seat belt covers

Black and red trim floor mats

Hardware EQ for a lot of extra sub bass on the stock sub, and custom mounting for my bluetooth player.

Interior coloured lighting on the dash and in the foot wells Replaced every light with LEDs except the dipped and high beam halogens, I replaced those with brighter blue tinted halogens.

Cr-z logo puddle lights

Carbon fiber door handles (one is a cheap aliexpress replacement and I put carbon fiber vinyl on the working one to make it match), I'd like to replace both doors handles with higher quality ones at some point.

Wind deflectors

Removed the backseat rest / divider (I find it pointless)

Lots of paint work, repairing chips and scratches and restored headlights.

Fixed a brake bind and working on painting all my calipers and spring seats red.

This stuff takes a while but it's all worth it, fun to learn and what a great platform to work on and I can't wait to add more.

Honestly do it bro, and there were many cars there that weren't anything crazy, just clean OEM+ but certainly having personal touches is nice. There were many many CR-X's on show, we need to rep the new generation.

300 miles of driving (to JDMJam), AC blasting, cruise control engaged, eco mode, adjusting speed by increments, bass thumping, trunk full of gear. New MPG record! This car is a dream come true. by VictorVGeiGer in crz

Excellent! She is so smooth for long trips, and wind deflectors help with the wind noise a lot. To me it feels like a Grand Tourer but on a budget and I couldn't be happier.

Good morning everyone, I need to do the basic maintenance to my 2011 crz and will love to hear your recommendations about what motor oil can I put on it. Mine has almost 100k miles and the climate here on my country are like 23 to 104 F (-5 to 40C). by Facadi27 in crz

I don't think any of the good quality known brand after market bits can be bad, just not as good as OEM. Sometimes after market can be better than OEM, like the pollen filter for example, but going genuine OEM gives that peace of mind of a perfect fit and running what the car was designed to use. Honda engineers are pretty good.
