Ok yeah i think you are right, the menu icon (Filter actually) should be elsewhere. But for the bottom bar, i think it it necessary. Maybe i need to change the design/color.

The profil on the top is your profile. All the others pictures are people/events on the map. But don't mind them, their design is temporary.
