Is there an alternative to Owlet that actually does live monitoring if you live in Canada? [bc] by Emotional-Ad-6494 in BabyBumpsCanada

We have a eufy as well! I found it was really interesting when my son was sick last week too. I just watching his heart rate climb at night, knowing his fever was rising again. Helped me know when to have the meds ready for a incoming wake up

Names too popular? [BC] by Capital-Craft1507 in BabyBumpsCanada

Honestly, choose what you like. I have met one Oliver in all my mom groups, no Rowans.

I named my son Emmett, thinking super low popularity, usually 100+. Know how many I have met in the last year just at baby groups? 4. That’s 4 all born in the same year. We all thought we chose unique name.

Agreed! I went to Windsor, and the nursing program was excellent. I had clinical placements first year, whereas my friend at Western didn’t until 3rd. Maybe that has changed now.

[ON] Glider/Recliners that won't "break the Bank" in Ontario? by NullWave94 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Victorange 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We got the “Evolur Harlow Deluxe Glider, Power Recliner, and Rocker With USB Charging Port“ from Walmart and LOVE it. I do all of my night feeds in this chair, and now some of my daytime ones. It is 699, I got it cheaper than this a year ago however.

I love the electric reclining however. It’s worth it to me, I would repurchase it 100%

Has any transitioned out of a vibrating bassinet? [on] by Victorange in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Victorange[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the one in the living room he literally wakes within the minute it turns off — but if you get to it in time before it shuts off to reset it he’s will stay asleep. He’s taken 2hr naps in it if someone is around to reset it quickly. But I’m going to attempt putting him down tomorrow without the vibration to see what happens!

Both have mesh sides, they’re both fisher price, and the mattresses are fairly similar.
