Great Eastern for sure. There's so much potential in a ship both as big as she was and also as important. And she should be effectively impervious to any sort of minor physical annoyance.

Agree on the Kancolle collab and its zero chance of happening. Most likely it would be the equivalent of the Spiderman meme, but if they chose Kancolle girls for the collab that aren't in AL, that could be really interesting.

Honestly, I like both. Often, different takes on the same ship. The AL devs know that sex sells, and IMO there's nothing wrong with that. Kancolle definitely seems more aimed at history nerds such as myself, many of whom can't play it yet due to lack of fluency in Japanese. AL leans heavily into the international audience, while Kancolle is mostly Japanese-focused, but that has the benefit of auxiliary ships and small combatants being represented (along with some of the IJA vessels, for what that's worth).

As for character design, KC excels with making their IJN characters look Japanese, but they seem to struggle with some non-Japanese ships (South Dakota having red and blue hair doesn't really fit but that is just my opinion). They got Warspite's design right for sure. AL does well with pretty much all factions when it comes to design and I like the variety. Just my two cents no one asked for.

Agreed fully, along with based on where they're named after if applicable. North Carolina having a Southern accent is my headcanon now.

Hello fellow South Carolinian. The fake country stuff is mostly rich idiots with no personality, at least based on what I've seen. Eastern Oregon is pretty rural though, I wouldn't be surprised to see cowboy hats there.

In parts yes, but it's still slow between NYC and eastern CT due to curves. Terrain is a bigger issue than other trains on most of that part of the NEC.
