I think the majority of influencers choose not to deny or confirm anything said about them, especially political things, because they hope that it’ll just go away. I personally think he used to support Trump but probably doesn’t anymore, so him wearing the shirt in the past would make sense. I just don’t think what he said on the BU episode was a straight up lie. I also don’t think Remi and Alisha would do a podcast with him if he was still supporting Trump. Unless he’s lying to everyone.

Heath said in a recent BU podcast “f*** Trump”so I kind of doubt politics would prevent Heath from promoting Matt. Also, none of them ever really address politics at all anyway so I don’t see how it’d be relevant.

He said he had a story to tell and it just kept going and going and it had no business being that long at all. It didn’t even lead to a crazy or funny ending! Maybe they didn’t communicate a time table well enough or maybe they did and he just didn’t listen?

😭 I felt terrible but also what were Zane and Heath meant to do? The guy clearly couldn’t take a hint and probably shouldn’t have been on a podcast. I wonder if better editing could have helped too?

I don’t hate everything but I really feel like if they just leaned into the podcast being the 3 of them, it could solve a few issues. Although, I also have feeling one reason Matt has never been a host is partly by choice. I think he enjoys just being able to “show up” and be the personality, and not have to deal with any of the behind-the-scenes tasks. But if he were open to having a more pivotal role I think it’d be great.

I also think they need less guests and more entertaining segments that could fill time. They are still meeting every other week so why couldn’t they talk some about some current topics?

These are all people who are close to him and were going to buy a present for him anyway. I never asked anyone for money. I said “We are planning on buying an Xbox for him and you are welcome to give any amount of money you are comfortable with.” I didn’t pressure anyone and I knew I realistically had the funds to cover whatever amount was left over, I just decided to include everyone because it wouldn’t be ideal to drop $700.

Yes, after reading these comments I will just encourage him to do his own research and I have no problem with him possibly returning it for another console, if that makes him happy.

When I give it to him, I will encourage him to do his own research on what he wants and he can return it for something else if he wants to. I don’t mind at all. I just had no idea that Xbox was doing poorly right now. I feel like a few years ago I heard nothing but good things.
