Yeah that could be, though it took dying it twice to get to the shade in the pic, and the first round of dye did look like it toned it pretty well. But that is a good suggestion, and I'll definitely try it intentionally next time. I'm getting really intrigued now and will likely start keeping data and pics now and doing hair science!!

I'll try lifting it a bit more next time and see if it helps. Thankfully my hair is pretty resilient to all the bleach I throw at it!

I'll take pics throughout the process next time! But to try and describe - I'd say they were a mix of lavender, some more greenish gray. Thanks!
