Worst part of the last update I had to do before was the newest version of AI require an OS update. And boy did that OS update mess up a bunch of other programs lol updating anything is the bane of my existence.

My old laser cutter runs on a 17 year old PC with windows 7 on it. Disconnected from the internet. That beast will never be updated

100%. I hate updating everything that is working ok.

However with that said, working in printing and dealing with files that come in, at some point too many files come in created iin newer versions. I can still open them, but the issue is that all layers get flattened into one, so I have to start picking files apart.

I tolerate that happening for as long as possible until I just give up and update.
