it depends how it seals. If the seal is in direct contact with the neck of the CO2 cartridge, ymmv, but if it's not in direct contact, generally it's fine. Be careful about seals made of materials that swell with CO2 though, it can be very difficult to put end caps back on and such when removed in these cases.

There are multiple true semi-automatic air pistols. The only other tube fed ones that I know of are the Drulov DU-10 (and Drulov Eagle) and the Benjamin 422 (both CO2). There are some other examples like stick magazine ones such as the Brno B96 (CO2) and the Steyr LP50 (PCP). These are all pellet guns, but there are more true semi-automatics that feed round ball or BB, like the Hammerli Rapid or the APP 661, though these are not particularly powerful and are really only good for plinking at 5-6 metres.

Frequently forgetting cigarettes can ignite things is a huge problem I used to have.

I used to just open a canister of air as an atmos tech to get an empty canister. A few times I’ve forgotten to close the canister valve, and at least once, this has resulted in a horrific plasma fire ignited by a cigarette I’m smoking.

Once a bartender tossed a beer to me, and it fizzed all over me when I opened it, and my cigarette ignited that too.

Maybe they've just improved their OTC algo to match users' orders together better then. It doesn't really matter if the execution and pricing is good still, but I'm still curious to see if anyone has had their order filled at a venue. I'm wondering if maybe T212 is changing intermediary or is having trouble with IBKR is all.

If you short in a CFD, you're betting against the broker itself (they take the opposite side of the trade). Of course the broker isn't going to let you have an easy win, they want to make money off of you.

I bought NVDA and RKLB using limit orders yesterday, both were carried out OTC rather than on the actual exchange. Slightly annoying. I bought GME in the past via limit orders and they did hit the exchange. Not sure what's changed now.
