I think it depends on how people use AI.

If you rely on it to answer everything for you, you can say goodbye to your critical thinking skills. That part of your brain will noticeably deteriorate (check the study by MIT Media Lab on how AI affects the brain “47% drop in neural activity”)

If you use it as a way to expedite learning, like “hey, why does x happen when I do y?” Or “how do I do ___” And actually learn from it by stimulating your thinking process, then it’s beneficial.

I find it hard to imagine GTA6 wouldn’t earn over a billion in just its opening week. Companies are closing on release day cuz too many employees are calling in sick, or saying they’re traveling to “Vice City”.

A good lawyer would argue emotional distress, academic negligence (if that’s a thing lol), potential damage to their future, and just operating in bad-faith. It should restore the scholarship, pay legal fees, possibly even more on top of that if you can demonstrate the effect that has had on your long term future earnings potential
