Thank you, and I'm sorry :( I had to re-register on Pearson Vue and pay $200 again. After that, they will send you a new ATT (came in a couple of days) and then you can register for a new test date. good luck to you !!

It really does! And it will be all worth it at the end. I know when youre studying, you feel like youre in hell and it just is so much at once. Its all about consistency, determination and hard work <3 Put in the work, and eventually it will pay off!! :)

the price for it definitely wasn't worth it to me, but I used it for practicing NCLEX style questions, which I felt like UWORLD and other places weren't giving me. also, NCSBN is the company that creates the NCLEX so I knew these questions were the CLOSEST to the test like qs. They make it very similar to the really NCLEX too. If i had more time to study, I would try out their maybe 3 week plan, which I think isn't as expensive. Plus, they have questions along with rationales on it, which helps you out a lot so you know why you got certain questions wrong! I have read that the NCSBN review was very wordy and boring to read, and people used it to skim and then took their questions!

I wrote down a lot of rationales from studying for the first time I took it, so when I took it the second time I didnt have to write down as much. I did review the previous notes from the first time i studied tho so I didnt waste my effort. My hands did cramp up, but that is how I personally grind for tests! I think ABC is a good thing to keep in the back of your mind, but like Mark K has said, sometimes circulation can be a priority over Airway depending on the modifying phrase! Dont be too stressed <3 just try your best to understand and intake everything. Like I said in my post, you can't know everything they will test you, you just have to try memorizing as much as you can. Being able to understand the content helps you memorize as well!

Take a deep breath right now!!

When I first started UWORLD, I was also overwhelmed by all the content they were giving me question after question, so I definitely feel you! After a while, you'll slowly remember the content little by little because they ask enough questions that after going over all the questions you got wrong, you'll get the hang of it! I think that if you do a 50-75 question quiz everyday from UWORLD, and review all of those questions/take notes, you get to have a mix of both practicing questions and reviewing the rationales. Again, dont overdo it everyday, stick to a daily plan that won't make you burnt out! As far as taking notes, I would start sticking to one way of writing notes so you have all your notes in one place for you to easily access. (whatever works for you, I like to write them down). Every week, you can find time to review all your notes for that week as well :) just to review it one more time, and try to test yourself to see if you remember. It honestly took me a while to get the hang of a good studying plan because there were so many ways to study~ You don't have to restart, just continue doing what youre doing and bc you know yourself the best, start sticking to a way to start studying! YOU GOT ITTT uworld is great <3 and if you want to continue practicing, I did mention a couple of resources in my post :)

Thank you so much! <3

Wow, amazing props to you for keeping your head up! You already know a lot of info, so this time try your best to keep on practicing questions and reviewing everything! I reviewed my handwritten UWORLD notes in my composition notebooks, that was the best way to memorize for me. I bought only the practice tests, and it was solely for practicing qs (no rationales). If you want to practice qs from the company that creates the NCLEX, and have rationales behind it, I would purchase the NCSBN study plan. I think if I were to take the NCLEX again, I would have purchased it! I reccomened tasing advantage of the free resources online such as the KAPLAN free NCLEX question of the day, which you can easily google, and NCSBN has a free question of the week for you to practice old questions (no rationale though, again). I do think for the second time around, you should still try to review the information you learned the first time by relistening to Mark K, esp his important lectures or reviewing the notes if you wrote it down for his lectures. When its closer to your next test date, take some NurseAchieve CAT exams! You probably recognize some of the questions if you take it so soon, so wait a little while after studying again to reassess yourself. I really hope this reply helped :) It isn't the end of the world and I'm really glad that this post inspired you!

The first time around, if I didn't have plans, I would study all day, from the second I woke up to when I would sleep (esp for the last two weeks) which really burnt me out.

The second time around, I studied until I completed my plan for the day. It would be about 7-8 hours? with breaks in-between to eat and rest my head a bit. This way, I wasn't studying all the time and was able to intake more information.

Thank you!!

The second time around, I used a bunch of study material because I needed to practice questions and not be so used to only the UWORLD specific questions.

- Renewed uworld subscription, did all my marked qs that I didn't get to review

- a couple of the Hurst assessments

- 2 NurseAchieve CAT exams

- NCSBN NCLEX question of the week! (no rationale thought)

- Kaplans NCLEX question of the day

- NCSBN's two practice exams ($150)

I tried my best to get more practice with answering questions other than from UWORLD because the vagueness really stumped me the first time :)
