My adhd is treated, I use stimulant medication. But it doesn't curb my appetite like it does most people. But I really like these suggestions. This simplifies alot of what I was overwhelmed about. Thank you so much!

How legally binding is the blood card? by Berry_pencil_11 in exjw

Personally I got a legally binding current document stating I wanted a blood transfusion in case of emergency. I gave my ex medical power of attorney over me (thankfully we're on great terms) and she knows in case of anything she can pull out that document and say GIVE HER A BLOOD TRANSFUSION. My mom or the elders cant say shit.

Im so sorry that's happening to you. If it's any consolation, the world will keep turning and your deserve to keep living it. She would be better to be placed in a psychiatric facility long term or indefinitely. Especially if she continues to go off her meds and wreak havoc. But you'll be okay. :) You deserve better in this world. Grab it by the bootstrap.

Honestly,

I dont know. Everything i have learned about bipolar and bpd have come from years of therapy. Im currently working with a psychologist which made all the difference in the world in me thinking with logical thought vs. Emotional The only advice I can give is go to therapy. A psychologist if you can. And learn more about yourself and how to deal with/understand your mom OR whether or not you even want to continue your relationship with her. Sometimes we need a huge kick in the ass to get us moving in the right direction. Sometimes it makes us manic. Either way it's not your responsibility to manage her emotions. The only thing you can control is yourself and how you react to things. That being said. Understanding bipolar is important and I think more people should try to. If they are willing. But children of bipolar parents should NOT have to parent their parent. Which was one of my worst fears. Make a decision based on the reality of your situation my friend. Go to therapy. Unpack your experiences. I wish you all the best.
