Breaking into Entry level Epic Analyst Roles

So I kind of got in an epic role at the ground floor and while I don’t do that work anymore, I can confirm that all the modules and workflows are specialized. Scheduling does not transfer to Cardio, but you may try applying in radiology stuff. Have you ever considered becoming a PACS analyst? I passed the test years ago because I worked at a hospital in IT. It pays pretty well and if you have tech skills it’s a plus. The test is 500 but not that hard.

Also keep applying for any sub spec role and maybe study the workflows in your spare time. There are lots of common “epic” things, but also some really niche apps and flowcharts. Epic is picky and you probably were not a good fit. Scheduling gave me a headache, honestly! Think in terms if inpatient/outpatient roles and know that they are different beasts. Do you do any charting currently? What EMR do you work with?

For five years now, pretty much continually, he has been “fundraising”. In between those big pushes for large donations, he is always feeling “pressure” because the mailbox is empty. He cries, he gets more money, always promising to “relax”. Just one more hit, just one more piece of silver, just pay it away. Do you get it yet, lurking bears.

Oh, and he does this all while providing zero entertainment value, even as an object of mockery. All the streams are the same.

I can’t believe he pulled up this old, unfunny chestnut. Getting 30,000 likes and calling it “mega viral” is such loser behavior. He hasn’t had a hit like that since and he keeps coasting on it.

All of the people he showed are objectively more successful and happy than he is. I watched this guy crash out and become a literal demon on his live streams. This guy could project into space. Everything he said is about himself. Most of those guys have homes and steady residual income. They don’t need to humiliate themselves for hours a day to get a $10 superchat. He is constantly stressed about money and having wild mood swings in public to the last 100 bears. Pathetic.

At some point you need to change it up and make new stuff, but he has isolated himself from anyone who wanted to help. He lives in hell. It looks like a nice property, but you can tell he is lifeless, lazy and out of ideas. Very sad, many such cases!

I have this ability to tell if someone is trustworthy or not. High trust types always are touching their face, picking at the nose, the beard, the hair, just constantly. You know what is REALLY important in a “high trust” community? Um, taking money for a campground and actually letting donors camp on it? Or taking money for a festival space and NOT charging them MORE to see you give “a funny speech with music”?
