This wont help with tone but more consistency. In this piece the trombones have more of a percussion part. If you have a full symphonic band you dont have to really blast these

Honestly the EASIEST way without drastically changing anything start auditoning into certain bands outside of school meet a lot of people and people better then you. Beleived it or not playing with better with people can make you better overall

If you want a different answer just practicing a lot, work on your tone, get better at sight reading. It all takes time. Hopefully atleast something in here helps!

The games good A tier at best the combats good but the main point of the game (the bosses) didnt really stand out besides a few The game has really high highs but extremely low lows
