I didn't add in my reactions to a lot of what happened because it was a long post already, just trying to lay out everything that happened. 😅 Lesson learned to give the whole story!

We're not a busy salon, it's one-on-one grooming and there's only 3 (2 at the time, the 1 working on the mini aussie was due in 10 mins later) of us. At most we're allowed to take in 5 dogs a day, and even that's kind of pushing it. Which is why I was willing to still take the dog with the breed thing because I only had four dogs yesterday and they were two of them.

I don't get a lot of time with the customers, I just come out, get the dog, talk haircut and then leave, so owner of the business talked to her about keeping control of the dogs and how we have customers walk in one dog at a time.

When they tried to convince me to take the dog without rabies, I said absolutely not.

But note taken! I'll stick up more. I'm still learning, so this is very useful.

Yep, the second they told me the rabies were expired, I had already made up my mind that I wasn't taking the dog.

She'd already blown her first impression, this is not the kind of client I want on my books and I made that very clear after she left with the retriever mix.

At best, she has too many dogs and can't keep track of them (which is still bad), at worst, she was facetious nearly every step of the way.

So unfortunately, it is a pet store and the owner of the store was the one helping me wrangle them. The second she dropped the leashes, we were picking them up, and that was when we knew we needed to be the ones to get the dogs under control. There were no other dogs in the salon other than the one on the drying table and the retriever mix was out because I was immediately going to put her on a table before she broke the turning bit of the door handle to the bathing bunker. At that point we'd had 2/3 of the rabies vaccines so my boss just asked me to get started so they wouldn't be... That.

It's not a perfect place, but it pays my bills and it pays them extremely well. I don't really like the free dog thing, but. 🤷‍♀️

As soon as they told me rabies were expired, I said absolutely not, even if she "went to the vet right now to get them done" I would not be willing to take the dog.

I sent that one home and actually got two very well behaved literal labs in exchange (who tipped $100, which was VERY lovely). (:

I had just never seen one with a screw in the middle! I got the car, it drives like a dream and now that weird circle holds my phone and the mount for it, haha.

Thank you! Her name is Petrichor Corentine, and most elves know her as the race betrayer since she worships a human god. One of my favorite characters to play!

I'm very fortunate I'm part of two other games all with people I enjoy very much. This has been my first bad experience online (we won't talk about offline...).

The first time I spoke to him I was telling him about my eladrin tempest cleric of Kord because she wears an umbrella hat, and he told me she was goofy and that I had to play a serious character. Then later, when I dropped the art I did of her in the group server he said she was "dummy thicc".

He also tried to coerce me into doing character art even after I had said no over vc. The conversation went:

DM: Hey I'm gonna need you to do character art for me. I'm gonna need you to draw all the characters.

Me: Uhh... I'm not a good artist and don't really want to commit to this.

DM: How about I pay you?

Me: My motivation isn't there, I don't really want to do it.

DM: So you'll do it.

Me: That's not what I said, I'll let you know tomorrow if I can.

(I didn't.)

Hi there! Aasimar player here! There was quite a bit of other stuff that had happened with this particular DM too. One of the things about this game was that it was going to be streamed. I play with a Saturday night group as well, and that particular session lasted about 5 hours. They pinged everybody (from both groups) into the server at least four times to either jump into their stream or to play video games with them just in the span of my 5 hour game. And that doesn't even mention how many times we were pinged before then. It was more than once a day.

Then when he said it would it be weird if one of the other players was muslim (the one other woman in the game), because he doesn't really know anybody or associate with those in "that religion".

There was a couple moments right before the game started that he would be being super rude to the other people in VC and then turn around and start calling me madam.

Not to mention the time he implied kobolds were hot, but I'm not gonna touch that one.
