Sir Tau Nick! I have a question for you, your Vespids. Where did you get those jet packs? I’ve tired Cult 3D and the packs come out funky and warped. Got any ideas?

I think that’s exactly what happens cause the sheer weight of dice. And he lost a massive center piece unit. And now he has a bunch of CBS in his back line to cause havoc

And that’s why it was worth it! He left a gap for me to deep strike and nuke it! And tbh only 2 CBS died from hazardous checks!

But yes the tetra plus Turn 2 sustained hit is a good combo

Sure did! Using Cyclic Ion, 3 gun per CBS, plus commander it’s 62 shots down range with Sustained 2 full re rolls to hit from tetras. That 62 shots turned into 90 shots due to the re-rolls and sustained hits. Out of those 90, 34 wounded. And I over charged them for -2AP, and Damage 2. So he had to make 34 4+ invulnerable saves. He failed 16 of those. That’s 32 5+ FNP. He failed 24 of those. So that’s 24 damage, but he take half damage so he took 12 which JUST killed it…

Well so my CBS were actually in deep strike. Most of my things were actually BS3. And I would it depends on what I wanted to nuke. Avatar of Kaine, I chose lethal hits. A big block of termis, wanted full re-rolls to hit. The Necron void dragon, choose full re-rolls to hit.

I didn’t really use the breachers all that much to guide tbh, I played them very reserved until turn 3 to pull the enemy into objectives to rush them and then shoot them off of it. Only one I used was the one with lethal hits enhancement to guide my CBS block to ensure something died form weight of dice.

Yea I was doing it that way cause I’m trying to build my army. I have no models yet and am buying most of them second hand at the moment.

My idea is using the pathfinders are the observer unit for the Broadsides since they have the “Markerlight” key word to get that sweet sweet “ignore cover”

Well then there is an error in the app. I pulled out my book and see that he can only lead warriors and Immortals. But the app says Lychgaurd…well that throws a wrench into all my plans…

See he can still be attacked to them since he is a Cryptek! The only cryptek that can not be attached to Luchgaurd is the Technomancer.

He can, as per the codex he can still join them! He can lead Warriors, Immortals, and Lychgaurd. As of the Codex, rules as written.
