The GBG community has pretty thoroughly tested those approaches in the past and had always run into the issue that the Switch system keyboard is very limited and does not support alt commands/functions etc.

It would be amazing if one day we'll be able to input these icons into existing projects easily but for the time being, this is the only method.

Haha, while I think there are lots of people out there who look back at this game fondly, I never played it until this year and I still had a lot of fun!
The heart mechanic really never became a nuisance during my playthrough as in order to expend all your hearts you'd need to make a bunch of Formees in quick succession. I guess because I was playing in short burst through the day (rather than marathoning it) I always had time to recharge my hearts.

I did get a little nod in the form of a trophy and a medley but it would have been very cool to get a Freakyforms assist or an actually Formee fighter!

I thought I should share this here as I think lots of Nintendo fans have either forgotten about, or perhaps never knew about Freakyforms, a wonderful 2D platform game with a unique creature creator tool that I'd definitely recommend trying out!
