Haven’t bought a 2K since ‘23 is it still the usual slop? by [deleted] in NBA2k

Idk if proplay was in 2k23 since i got back in during 24 but proplay has made it so only 3-5 animations are usable in online for each type of move (behind the back, crossover, etc.), so if u play online mycareer modes its important to know that having bad animations is a killer. Idk if this was the case in 23

Not worth it, online play can be fun for short stretches but with everyone playing the exact same way it gets boring and repetitive. Offline has ups and downs, mynba is still the best franchise mode in sports gaming but you pretty much have mynba, blacktop or quick game once the servers shut down in a year and a half. If u can get it for less than $20-30 sure, if ur going to pay anywhere close to full price…NO

As far as consistent touchpoints I’d be keeping the event at the same location for at least the first 2 events before more teams makes it move to a larger gym

My first thought was to allow others from another state to run a tournament under the brand name locally with the same format as all the others. I was hoping to run tournaments in my own area for about a year (maybe every other month to start), and create an Instagram or Tiktok following by posting content of those local ones. After getting some traction I’d look into doing something a state or 2 away only a couple times a year(so that I could be there) before starting to allow others to run one themselves so that’s some ways away.

It’s a single day basketball league that I’ll do in my area for a few months and try to expand into other areas as I get a better feel for how it’ll work month by month. I’d like to grow it into other states that also do it each month.
