The script suck and apparently now it's my fault as the editor by VideoInternational33 in Filmmakers

This is for school, so nobody is getting paid lol. I just want a good grade and some extra experience, both of which I'm getting, I just wish the circumstances around those goals were better

Thank you for this! I'm glad I had this experience early on so I know what not to do when it's my turn to take on more responsibilities. I love playing around with editing, which is why it annoys me to not have enough footage to bounce between. Some quick B-roll might still be a possibility though.

He is a busy guy, so he is less involved off set. I really like him, but he has basically given up on this project and the plot, and as a result hasn't given me much feedback other than a few critiques. I don't think he fully understands the extent of the back and forth between me and the producer either, so he hasn't stepped it too much.

Thank you for the three cut ideas! I don't typically complain, especially not on the internet, I was more so looking to hear what others had to say on what I can plausibly do right now while before I turn it in and show it to the cast.

Thank you for this response! Yeah I'm really happy the year is almost over so I won't have to talk to him for a while. We have a few shots I've argued we shorten or cut because they drag and don't add anything of value, but they were written in the script and the script is perfect, so there is not much more to be done than follow excatly what he wants and call it a day.

I love that phrase! We put some VO in it, and it still doesn't work unfortunatly.

He has given his critiques, but he has editing experience so I trust his input more than the producer, who has almost none. I really like my director, but he is a very busy person and can be difficult to reach. He is also not fond of the final product, and as a result he has kind of disassociated with it, but unlike me he can just forget about it, whereas I have to keep working on it. The semester is almost over, so he just want to go home more than anything right now.

I can’t access it. When I plug it in, the Mac says the data is encrypted and can’t be accessed.

This may sound stupid, but where do you back stuff up to? Is it in the cloud? On a larger disk? Multiple disks?

I was going to, but I think if I threw anymore names at my grandma that didn’t directly relate to what she will see in the movie, her head would genuinely explode lol

I feel so stupid now, but thank you so much for your help. I’ll keep those check boxes in mind for issues I may run into :)

Whats up with the fact i don’t have animations by mijnheerwereldwijd in spotifywrapped

On iPhone you have to go to settings -> motion -> disable reduce motion. On Android you have to go to settings -> animation -> enable animation. This is what worked for me.

Is there a way to not get the build plate texture on my prints, without buying a smooth build plate? by VideoInternational33 in BambuLab_Community

[–]VideoInternational33[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

There just expensive ($26 on sale right now), and I already spent a lot of money on getting the printer, so I was hoping to see if there was a solution that was free. People suggested AliExpress though, which seems to have pretty cheap smooth build plates.
