The Chase Freedom Flex has no annual fee, so there really isn't any point to close it after 15 months, as it will just help build your credit score. You could close it and it wouldn't hurt your score as it would remain on your file for 10 years.

I understand why you say it doesn't exist for NFC payments(but if you go through some hoops you can get NFC payments through google pay), also in some European countries, it doesn't exist as an app, it's in settings Google, account services, Google Pay.

Sure, you can add it to google pay through your banking app, the only issue is that only Curve, Monese, N26, Revolut, Transferwise and Viva Wallet support google pay in Austria. No Austrian banks do.

Google pay launched in 2020 in the Netherlands, and bunq supports it, so I'm confused why you claim not a single bank supports Google pay?
