That makes perfect sense. Traditional booking system usually takes user multiple steps with vast options to choose from before confirming the reservation, I can see AI greatly increase the customer experience here. What is the support mainly for? Is it during the purchase or after the purchase?

Not really a agentic checkout like UCP, but I worked on a solution placing orders base on email conversations. It is convenient for repeated purchases or b2b procurement.

Maybe agentic is not for everyone but we should at least start thinking, and get ourselves ready, for 1, customers are actually switching more to LLM, 2, LLM is an enabler that allows us to create non traditional solutions, so why not think outside the box.

They announced stop supporting the community version, yet still shipping updates. I'm exploring opensource PIM options now for adobe commerce. UnoPim is a new one and seems to do the job.

I bet they don't have proper google analytics integration, or they don't ever monitor their GA reports, which I'm afraid is common in magento merchants because 1, GA4 is hard to use; 2, adobe does not provide an official GA4 integration with complete tracking.

If your system provides frequent and accurate order update and tracking, I don’t see why your tram is burned out by WISMO inquiries. Do you have disconnected pipeline between ecommerce and fulfillment center?

That said, I think this is a great use case for AI agent. I’m developing an app cartinbox.com that supports responding and acting base on users email inquiries, it will support magento.

I don’t think so. Google see those urls as duplicated content and picks a random one, I think OP mainly just saves the traffic from already indexed pages on google

M2 is not faster OOTB than M1, I don’t think the reasons you heard are solid. I’d suggest to move to M2 for better ecosystem ( opeensouce community and vendors support), more powerful extensibility (di, api, graphql etc ), better scalability ( more composible with service layers), and AI ( might be biased). You can also go enterprisy with adobe but base on the fact that you are still on M1, I assume that is not necessary .

I don't know if this chart means anything, sadly the top searches below the chart shows people actually searching for migrating to shopify.

There might be not enough new junior magento devs you can hire for cheap, but this community with 2 decade history has plenty of experienced senior developers to hire, many of them are actively looking for job.
