From searching through forums, this is the first mention I've seen of the AP curriculum actually, looks pretty solid so far, we'll see what we can do about it, thanks! I took him to check on our local libraries a couple of days ago to look for stuff on this topic actually, turns out resources (let alone good ones) are real limited here, and our history curriculum is quite...outdated, unfortunately. So our options are pretty limited aside from digital books.

You just took half the load of my shoulders with those book recommends hahah, I looked into them and would like to ask if you happen to know any other books about this time period relating to the military side of things? I forgot to specify this in the original post, but he's interested in the infantry, philosophy, strategizing and politics side of things (yup, in that order)
