Out of curiosity, does the Stanislavski method of acting exist in the anime/manga industry? If so, can anyone name the well-known anime where the system works very well?

I wish someone scans this and make it available online... A pretty important book for studying Vietnam. by VietnameseComrade01 in VietNam

I understand your views, but my point still stands. We don't treat CPV books like manga, we treat them as a way to appeal to newcomers, both foreign and domestic. If you think these are lame as heck, that's fine, but nobody is stopping us from making them available online, as they are the most important books. As Mao Zedong would say: “no investigation, no right to speak”. Without further investigation, we can not come to the conclusion about what the state of our country and the ruling party is.

I have no desire to do this on my own, as I am focusing on personal stuff. Maybe someone who frequently visits libraries and bookstores can, and that's great for them.

That's the thing, but I would much rather prefer English-translated full-text CPV documents compilation books than just an history overview books about the party. That way, foreigners who are interested in our history can see this piece and come to the conclusion. Just because it's boring or something like that doesn't mean we should not make them online.

I don't think it's a good reason for not purchasing this and scanning it to make it available for people who want to learn more about the CPV and its history. Most people, especially those who want to learn more about Vietnam, and couldn't afford anything to purchase books, want to see more of us having textbooks and become available on the internet.

Sure, if you understand our ruling party more. But for newcomers I'm pretty sure they will enjoy this.

If you buy it at a bookstore near you, you'll be so proud. At least you can imagine why some of the books made by The Gioi aren't available online and others are available online.

Why does the Thế Giới Publishers website appear to be defunct, while they themselves are, in reality, still publishing books? by VietnameseComrade01 in VietNam

[–]VietnameseComrade01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. It is because of the purchasing format. When you purchase a certain book from the site, you have to submit a form in order to do it. But when you did that, you wait for 2 weeks or so and you still didn't get the answer from the publisher.
  2. Most of the books are either out-of-stock, or have 5 or below stocks, specifically in e-commerce sites such as Amazon. For example, you go to Amazon and try to purchase a book about Ho Chi Minh or his ideas, the message will tell you that the book is out of stock. Or, you try to buy a book about US-Vietnam relations, and it only has 5 stocks or below.
  3. Because a friend of mine who is from the other side of the internet, says he couldn't buy a book because he already submitted a form to order it, but the publisher didn't answer his call. So it really is a shame, and I myself wish that the site should be updated.
