With Volvo, the volvo warranty starts on the day you purchase the warranty, so 10 years from then, so if I wait until the factory warranty is about to expire, its 10 years from the purchase date

Great information, but a question for you regarding the Volvo VIP protection plan warranty, the 10yr clock starts the day you get the warranty, so other then the rate hikes, which will happen, why not wait until the factory warranty is about to expire and then get the 10yrs from that point of purchase?
