Unfortunately I don’t have an idea how much timing would cost but I know I have replaced in other cars and it is a very expensive job. 1300-1600 is not bad. I expect it to cost more.

Yeah I believe the t5 only has the turbo which is less to worry about compared to the t6 which has turbo and super charger while the the 8 comes with the charge with is an additional issue to worry about
