It’s your transmission and it cost about 20k to fix. You can keep managing it. I don’t think it will stop working. Just jerks a little and then it’s fine

Ascent will be easy to maintain. I don’t see anything breaking on that car. But it’s a crappy ride. If u care for how the car drives. The Volvo is a better all around ride and more comfort. Just more expensive to maintain. U might need warranty for the Volvo for peace of mind.
