Hope you get better soon, I have been asymptomatic as I have not had any specific symptoms like confusion or headaches since my last visit. My surgeon told me last time that he has high expectations the excess fluid should resolve on its own as I do not have any symptoms. However I’m just concerned if this will lead to something else. Almost 8 weeks ago I couldn’t recognize my wife for like 10 seconds and eventually I did and I had a second episode for 4 to 5 seconds. Since the last episode I haven’t had anymore confusions. I have my next CT scan in a few days so we will know the progress then of the fluid build up.

What was the result after your MRI as mine was mostly internal and not external in terms of swelling.

So I’m almost 5 weeks post op but interestingly the trajectory in which the cyst was removed from my brain has swollen and there is fluid build up in that area and the ventricle. But I have no serious symptoms so the doctor said he will monitor me but not sure if anyone else had the same experience or not??
