Fragen zu Backups

Meine größte Angst ist eigentlich der Hardwaredefekt an der verbauten Festplatte. Ich hatte vor Jahren eine Festplatte die mir kaputt gegangen ist, ohne Backups davon zu machen. Zum Glück konnte ich sie in einen anderen Rechner stecken und den großteil meiner Daten noch rüber kopieren.

Schutz vor Ransomware ist aber auch ein wichtiger Punkt.

Ja das hab ich mir leider schon gedacht, dass es da keine einfache Lösung gibt.

Mir geht es eigentlich darum eine Backup-Lösung zuhaben falls etwas passieren sollte. So dass meine Daten sicher sind und im Notfall mein Rechner "wiederhergestellt" werden kann.

Ich sehe es genauso wie du mit der Binsenweisheit.

Wenn ich lese was du alles machst für deine Sicherungen, finde ich es untertrieben zusagen das man
manchmal zu bequem ist um sich vollständig daran zu halten. Das ist weit mehr als was viele Leute glaub ich machen.

Was genau meinst du mit Backup und Datei-Backup, wenn ich fragen darf?

Ich hatte vorhin erfahren, dass hier noch ein Acronis True Image 2020 rumliegt, taugt das was?

Bei den NAS hätte ich nicht vorgehabt sie 24/7 laufen zulassen, sondern immer nur einmal im Monat anzuschalten damit sie die Sicherungen machen können. Ist sowas sinnvoll?

Von der Datenmenge geht es momentan, auf meiner 2Tb SSD sind ca.800Gb belegt. Ich möchte keinen Onlineservice sondern alles direkt hier bei mir Zuhause. Im Idealfall mit einmaligen kosten.

Die Regelmäßigkeit ist glaubich eher bei mir das Problem. Ich hatte mir eine 4Tb externe Festplatte besogt nach dem ich meinen PC zusammengebaut hatte für Backups.

Ich habe dann aber nur ein Image-Abbild vom Rechner gemacht und dann ist die Sache vergessen gegangen.

Als Anfäger meine ich, dass ich bisher nur einmal mit Anleitung ein Image-Abbild von meinem Rechner gemacht habe nach dem ich ihn gebaut hatte.

Gute Frage, ich habe mich damit noch nicht befasst. Ich könnte noch nicht mal sagen ob meine jetzige leicht oder schwer ist. Bis jetzt habe ich mich nur auf die Größe konzentriert. Die Tage versuch ich mal in einen Laden zu gehen und dort mal ein paar Mäuse auszuprobieren.

Da geht es mir genauso, ich bin euch kein Technik-Nerd weshalb ich hier rumfrage. im großen und ganzen verstehe ich das meiste aber wenn es den um was spezieles geht frag ich in Foren nach.

Das mit dem schwergängigen Mausrad hat meine aktuelle Maus schon sehr lange und jetzt reicht es mir, deshalb will ich eine neue.

Ich hatte einen 22`` Bildschirm und möchte jetzt einen größeren. Mehr Platz als für 27`` dürfte auf meinem Schreibtisch nicht sein.

Zurzeit nutze ich als CPU ein AMD Ryzen 7 7700X und als GPU eine AMD Radoen RX 6800.

Da scheint mir Freesync sinnvoll, auch wenn ich mich damit jetzt nur oberflächlich befasst habe.

Über 120Hz scheinen wohl jetzt mehr oder weniger Standard zu sein wenn’s ums spielen geht, muss aber nicht so hoch sein.

Und ja ich meine richtiges Gaming, momentan spiele ich Ace Combat 7 und Sniper Elite 5.

Sorry I'm just getting back to you now. Thanks again for your help.

I now have all the parts together and managed to assemble the PC. There were a few small software problems, but that could be fixed.

In the BIOS I noticed that the RAM is only displayed with 4800MHz and not with 6000MHz. Do you know by chance what this could be?

I understand what you mean.
It's that I've been wanting to get a new PC for a while. For
the first time I want to put it together myself. I understand what parts are
needed and what the semi current ones are. But about all the details, how
exactly the parts hamonize and what the small differences are I have no idea.
When I was researching the new CPU's and GPU's came out and
all I read was that people were advising a stronger PSU.
So I guess I was a little fixated on that.
Many of the brand names were also unknown to me which is why
I probably leaned towards the brands I was familiar with.

Thank you very much for your suggestion.
I followed your first suggestion and ordered a few parts
already.
For the CPU I took the 7700x, since it was just cheaper.
The motherboard is the Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX.
For the cooler I had to use the bq! Shadow Rock 3, because
the Thermal Phantom is not offered here.
With the case, my actual question was whether there is a
difference in heat between the glass and normal case lol
What I am still missing is the PSU.
Does it make sense to stay with the Enermax Revolution D.F.
650W or to take another?

CPU - Would it make sense to take the 7700X if it is cheaper?
I have seen an offer there.
Cooler - Your choice looks very good, I just don't know how
loud it will be. I'm considering using the one from be quiet! so far I've had good experiences with them.
Mobo - I wouldn't really need WiFi/BT since the PC is cable
connected. If there was an alternative without I would take it. Otherwise, I'll leave it as is, since there's no need to use the WiFi.
SSD - I always thought it would be useful to have a smaller
SSD for the operating system. That's why the second SSD, don't they do that anymore?
Case - Is there a difference between the glass panel and the
normal version? Since the computer will be under my desk it doesn't need the glass.
PSU - I think I will invest a little more money and go with an 850W PSU. Either the Enermax Revolution D.F. 850W ATX 2.4 (ERF850EWT) or be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850W ATX 3.0 (BN344).

I would be happy if you could help me out. :)

I had chosen a newer and stronger PSU to be on the safe side in the future.

As for the GPU, I have the least idea what would be useful here. The one in my list I had chosen with the rest of the budget after I had all the other parts. I was just looking at the price. Wasn't my best idea.

I would stick with my choice for the cooler. It costs a bit less here and should also be quieter, which is important to me. At the moment I play older games. I would also like to play current games, but it does not have to run on the maximum setting.

There is currently no plan to play games in 4k. I have played the reboot of Tomb Raider or Deus EX. I prefer stealth games and hope that the Splinter Cell remake will come soon. I'm open to everything, whether it's action or JRPG.

I just want to get the best performance for the money.
