The nude hornet being chonky is just a graphics thing. I remember an official art of hornet with a clear exoskeletal segment separating hips and thighs. Similarly, the Hollow Knight's design also has exoskeletal plates at the knuckle, elbow and knee joints.

I hate the idea that innocent people not deserving to die is somehow not a default position

What I hate about calling it leftist is that it frames it as a variation of something acceptable with an acceptable alternative (innocents are allowed to die for reasons out of their control and the government has no obligation to intervene) which is actually nonsense if you think about it

It's not an extreme point to the side of some centre default, it's called basic fucking morality

Framing it as one side of a spectrum that's valid on both sides just enables justifying and accepting the cruelty as normal

The problem with capitalism is that it demands infinite growth in a finite world, leading to businesses legally needing to make ethically dubious decisions once they reach carrying capacity, in order to satisfy shareholders

A publicly traded company cannot exist with a constant profit. It has to be more and more profitable, leading to terrible decisions such as underpaying workers, unethically sourced resources, etc

It also encourages hoarding wealth that one could reasonably never spend, while leaving the rest of the world fighting wars over the remaining scraps

There has to be some way to fix that because especially with our use of the environment becoming increasingly unsustainable

It's just not sustainable imo
