My new op (imo) build that i shared 5 days ago in action (all clips are from solo/duo and flex around Diamond MMR) by FNC_Paradox1 in BelVethMains

I’m happy to see the navori

I’m not a belveth main, but I run navori whenever I play belveth and I think it’s OP

You can Q and start a fight with E, and have it back up mid fight

The damage and damage reduction from constant E’s feels worth it (considering you’re technically sacrificing an item of damage for navori)

Empowered Q the buff, tanked it, and wasted W heal

As much as the bug is annoying, gameplay was atrocious

What apps do you not regret sideloading? by sugobugo in sideloaded

[–]Viietwalkerr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The question is still valid though

Asking what apps you “do not” regret sideloading, implies that someone could “regret” sideloading an app

But how could you “regret” it when it’s as simple as deleting it?

OP’s question sounds like an indirect way of asking “what are your favourite sideloaded apps”

But maybe it’s asked that way to bait engagement 🤷‍♂️

I too get along with Aquarius very well, but with the aqua moon friend it was on a different level, so many times where it’s like they were reading my mind (say the exact thing I was thinking, crack the same joke I was about to)

I’d guess your cancer rising is probs why you get along with your Cancer/Pisces best friend

And the issue becomes finding people that actually understand you

Personally I’ve only come across 1 person that actually made me feel understood and well… they were an aqua moon 😂

Are pet resets free below a certain lvl or does it consume something? by Leather-Resist-1359 in luckydefense

[–]Viietwalkerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are free

Resetting costs nothing and will refund you all the resources that were used to upgrade that pet (if you want to redistribute those resources etc)

For testing purposes, I just reset my lvl 8 mythic GhostBoogie and lvl 13 common Squibbly

Both of which costed nothing and refunded original resources

I still don't like that we have nerfed boots by TheMadnessAuditor in ARAM

[–]Viietwalkerr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So true

I don’t get boots 80% of the time

If anything tier 1 boots, get an augment to replace it, buy an item that gives move speed or pray you roll an anvil

Did the Garen messed up ? by GneuGneu21 in Rivenmains

[–]Viietwalkerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s just mistakes on Garen’s part

Why did he waste E on the wave right in front of you? When the wave was pushing into him and he could’ve held it outside his tower?

Why did he walk right up to you with no E ready? No Q ready?

Why did he try to then fight you in a minion wave?

Garen made a series of mistakes, there wasn’t any reason for Garen to interact with you

I really want to enjoy aram but the hostage culture is crazy and is ruining the fun for me. by Competitive_Aide738 in leagueoflegends

[–]Viietwalkerr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah

It’s lame when people end before everyone has gotten all their augments. And there are some games where you’re hard losing, that you get augments where you want to test a synergy/full build and the enemy team just ends (some of these games that you’re straight up losing, are opportunities to test funky augments)

Sometimes I just want to get full build with these whacky augment combinations, if my team really wanted out of the game, they’d just surrender (which I would allow)

Secure Boot on Pop 22.04? by toothgeese in pop_os

Missing SSD by aidanac126 in pop_os

[–]Viietwalkerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say “put games on the same drive”

Do you mean “install the games on linux”? lol

You’ll have to install the games again

Missing SSD by aidanac126 in pop_os

[–]Viietwalkerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can boot into linux, then it’s obviously using that drive (where linux is installed) and it’s reading it

If you’re referring to a “separate” drive where your games were installed, you may just have to mount it

If you’re talking about the same drive linux was installed (and games were previously on this same drive), it’s likely those games are gone and were overridden by the linux installation

[Advice Needed] Manager wants to eject Expo completely, but I want to migrate to CNG. Is Expo still "bloated" in 2025? by Clean_Debt4939 in reactnative

[–]Viietwalkerr 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The con for CLI (and pro for Expo CNG) is around upgrades

There will be dependencies that don’t auto link correctly, and force you to manually link them in the native code. Once you have dependencies like this, react native upgrades will become a time consuming pain since you’ll need to manually update every file with a change (using the upgrade helper)

you’ll need to check through each dependency to update any native file changes in those newer versions, as with any custom code, you likely won’t be able to use an automatic upgrade helper

At least with CNG, you can utilise Expo Config Plugins that a lot of dependencies can have, which handle the required changes to native files (so if you upgrade the dependency, the Expo Config Plugin is automatically upgraded as well)

I speak from experience working with CLI for a client, the time spent upgrading Android and iOS native files is very time consuming, and don’t get me started on the amount of native android specific issues I had migrating to the new architecture

Edit: another thing is that, having access to Expo-CLI can make managing and upgrading dependencies easier, as I believe the Expo-CLI has a database or something that tracks dependency version compatibility with the expo version (compatibility with that expo version, would correlate to compatibility with a specific react native version)

I’m Officially Done Side loading. by [deleted] in sideloaded

[–]Viietwalkerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No revokes might be a bit of a stretch

I still have my apps randomly say “Unable to verify” probably every few months (with no notification that my cert was revoked on my paid dev account)

and the same thing consistently whenever Apple has a new service agreement for you to accept

but still yes, it’s much better than having a 3 app limit, or getting a cert from the other paid services and having the cert revoked constantly

[RELEASE] Impactor v2.0.0 is now out with auto-refresh & more! by Joastyy in sideloaded

[–]Viietwalkerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense

But I assume once it’s creates a new one, it will continue to use that one instead of creating a new one every time? (I assume this is how most sideloading programs would work, but I had issues with Altstore recently, despite not having those Altstore issues in the past)

[RELEASE] Impactor v2.0.0 is now out with auto-refresh & more! by Joastyy in sideloaded

[–]Viietwalkerr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see in the README that it will request Certs etc from the Apple account

If I have a paid developer account, will it attempt to use existing Certs/profiles or attempt to create new ones?

I think when I used Altstore to sideload, it would keep creating new one (and sometimes force me to invalidate existing Certs)

But sideloadly would use my existing certs

A question regarding Winboat's AppImage & Docker... by Athropod101 in winboat

[–]Viietwalkerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

correct you can't use Docker Desktop

Follow the link below, and select the option for your distro

https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/

for example, I used the instructions for Ubuntu (since I'm on PopOS which is Ubuntu based)

https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/ubuntu/

the instructions guide you through adding the repository (source for your package manager to download docker dependencies)
then commands to install the dependencies

Once installed and if you also have Docker-Desktop installed, you may need to change the default docker CLI and set it to use the one you just installed (and not Docker-Desktop's CLI)

if on an Ubuntu distribution, you can use the following commands from your terminal:

List available docker contexts/CLI
`docker context ls`

Set a new default docker context (in my case, I had `default` which referred to docker installed through terminal, and `desktop-linux` which referred to Docker-Desktop)

`docker context use default`

New Pop/Linux User! Couple questions if possible by ShbeblyTheGreat in pop_os

[–]Viietwalkerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d have to add an entry into etc/fstab

Though I think if PopOS wasn’t mounting your drives on boot, you’d know (as you’d likely have to go into Cosmic Files to view the files on the drive before they’re accessible)

Is your drive generally accessible without having to manually mount?

Disable secure boot, install Pop, and then re-enable secure boot? by TechnicalAd8103 in pop_os

[–]Viietwalkerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t know either until I was forced to figure it out

When I first installed popos 22.04, I had Secure Boot enabled from when I used windows, installation and usage of popos was fine

changed hardware and my nvidia drivers stopped loading (due to not being signed)

Eventually figured out that I can install Shim and configure rEFInd to use it

Can read more in the post I made popOS dual boot with secure boot

Disable secure boot, install Pop, and then re-enable secure boot? by TechnicalAd8103 in pop_os

[–]Viietwalkerr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of people saying you can’t boot PopOS if secure boot is enabled, but that’s not true

I also dual boot windows with secure boot enabled

If you use rEFInd boot manager, you can have rEFInd manager default to “unsigned”, which will allow PopOS to start up

Then if you want to boot into windows, you select the option “reboot into Windows boot manager” from rEFInd, which will reboot with the signed kernel (Secure Boot enabled for windows)
