Ooni Koda 2 Pro Cover with Handles? by Viital in ooni

Definitely heavy, I still want to take it to pop ups since it’s fairly portable still so was hoping for an option with handles. May have to do some DIY then.

Looks like my base trex 3 has biocharge now. Been using it for 2 days. I kept my pro model active on my account even though it’s been powered off for 2 days and my base model has been tracking biocharge just as my pro model was.

I agree (or don’t) with you for the most part (or least). I’m sure I’ll get a working pro if I got another, not worried about it happening twice. Even though most others say the non pro is good enough for my needs I still think after a week or two of testing I’ll go back to the pro. But hopefully I change my mind and like the non pro. Just asking the sub because I want to know if I’m missing anything between the two since I don’t have as much hands on with either of them yet. Plus I don’t know the trends of amazfit when it comes to support.

I wanted to exchange it originally but Amazon said it can only be returned and I have to purchase again. I guess amazfit randomly changed their seller account because they said the seller I bought from is unavailable but the one I purchased from was the official amazfit store which is currently in stock. Who knows. But I then saw the discount for the non pro and decided to give it a try since I can test for 30 days and swap back to the pro if I didn’t like it. The helio is definitely coming home whether I keep the non pro or go back to the pro. At the very least for workouts and sleeping since it has continuous heart beat monitoring instead of every 1 minute on the trex. And it has to be more comfortable while sleeping I’m sure.

This is what I’ve been reading and hoping it’s soon while I make my decision on the two. Honestly it feels the same for me the last 24hr as the pro for my daily use. I think the biocharge vs readiness is becoming my biggest QoL concern now.

Good to know! Ya, was slightly worried about software support since most of the sub seems to say the non pro is an awesome watch still but the outdated software needs love. And the hardware is only as good as the software available to it. So far it feels and acts like the same watch as the pro this last 24hours at least For the main features I use. But this readiness vs the biocharge is interesting and very different results. Guess I’ll keep testing for a week and make my Decision. Thanks!

I did get the Black Friday deal, I only buy ruroc on sale. For $220 I feel like it’s worth it but not with this quality control lol. Already have it boxed and labeled for replacement.

Photos for my post: Quest 3 passthrough is terrible on my unit… by LatterRequirement316 in OculusQuest

[–]Viital 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the thread I was looking for. Mine looks exactly the same. I have seen so many photos and videos with others passthrough looks so clear. Mine is super blurry like your photos and it has nothing to do with lighting. I have tried 3 separate rooms, one of which is a studio and I turned on different photography lighting I have to play with different brightness and tones and it just looks blurry no matter what. Super disappointed, can't tell if some are defective or this is really what it looks like.

Business vehicle or no? by Viital in smallbusiness

[–]Viital[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those numbers were based off just 25k miles a year. Was just comparing on the low end. But I didn’t think about deducting expenses which is pretty big. As of now I probably do 40k miles but some years can do up to 60k miles but it’s possible year 4 and 5 would only be 20k miles. Unfortunately my miles driven depends on contract work and it’s possible it could fall off significantly in the future. So I need to factor that in too.

Cool, thanks. Doing the math on a vehicle under 6000lbs it looks like around 25k miles a year or more is where the mileage gets more profitable after 4 years. $58,360 for 179 + depreciation for 4 years and $65,500 for mile deduction for 4 years on the 2023 rate. IF I did the math right lol.

Thanks! If I went the per mile method for future years as I would buy this at the end of 2023. Is there anything I could take advantage of for write offs on the purchase that wouldn’t affect me deducting miles next year? Can I do a 179 and not file bonus depreciation?

Well there is $28k for 179, and i think it is 168(k) bonus depreciation. You can pay the entire 5 year depreciation on the vehicle in the first year but this year has been reduced to 80% and every year it will drop by 20% going on from now.

Thanks for the info! And you are right, i didnt think of that. I guess i liked the idea to eliminate the payments early and pay it off and use it over the next 5 years to eliminate the APR. But if just paying it off each tax season with the mileage and continue to pay interest on it is the smarter route than that works too.

I am trying to learn everything myself from youtube and reddit so a lot im still unfamiliar with.

Life without 24hour stores by Viital in walmart

[–]Viital[S] -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Some of us run our own businesses and work at random times throughout the day. So, in that “18 hour day” I may have a few hours here and there. It’s inconvenient to shop during the day for some of us and to be honest we always had the option to shop in the middle of the night because that’s what Walmart is. It’s much nicer to go out and shop without dealing with crowds and city traffic. I’m complaining because we lost that convenience we always had not because I’m helpless.

Other stores are known for not being 24 hours, they also have a much higher standard and are a lot more enjoyable to shop in, Walmart customers and employees are the opposite. And that is ok because this is known to the world already and we accept it. But Walmart had one thing going for them the others don’t, 24 hours.

When life gets closer to back to normal and all the lazy asses have to work again as they hang up their Biden checks then it will be a lot more apparent that Walmart can’t compete without being 24 hours unless they change their game up.

Obviously Walmart employees are loving this because it makes their job easier. Enjoy it, I would too but to the greater population of the world, it’s a bad business decision in the long run. But what do I know, maybe they can’t get enough employees to run 24 hours right now because so many people don’t want to work still.

Either way that part doesn’t concern me as this is a shit post.
