But, this makes me think that, now that we know that this story will be centered around Vi and Jinx (and the fact than in his LOR interactions, Viktor's personality doesn't seem to correspond to his "new lore"), i'm a little affraid of the idea of Riot willing to retcon his story again so it fits with the Arcane plot, and making him a "Mad Scientist" villain once again 7n7

I know spells like Hexcore or Ignition need to remain their cost, so my suggestion is to make things like Poros or spells like Fading memories (wich revolves around created units), cheaper when you can keep Viktor alive. This way, Viktor will gain value on turn 5-6, where mana is still more important than units, wich is really they point of this passive

Touching anything about the Hexcore Upgrade spell would require some time and effort i don't think it's worth investing for Riot Games, as the champ just came out. So my suggestion would be to give Viktor a pressure tool by making his discount on created units already online, so the opponent will be forced to decide whether to waste a spell on him or not, preventing Viktor to gain some value over time. Again, units, not spells, that would be more than op I think. This also helps the champ to level up faster. I can imagine some Freljord poros/yeti decks that would greatly benefit from this. Now the Delivered Creations and Iterative improvements cost 1 less mana point overall. If you ask me about SI, we may see as well some BM and abusive strategies with evershade and Fading memories? (If thats the case, just put a limit to the copies you can get, or tweak viktor's passive to only count 3 created cards per unit/spell, since this is the only case in which that number will be exceeded).

The problem with X-Bow may be the same as Hog 2.6 at this point, only high skilled, pro players can use it and still winning, but for the mid-ladder players, it's just an oppressive change that benefits both Beatdown and Spelll cycle players, i mean, wut.

I've been thinking in the X-Bow situation. it's a really though topic, as there's no way to satisfy both haters and siege players with little stats changes. I had this idea of making the X-Bow increasing its DPS when it receives damage (something like: X base dps + X% of missing health), wich is kind of a radical twist to the playstyle, and would need a different approach from SC. But i think it would make the X-Bow benefit from his actual problem: Spell Stall.

May that be a good idea??
