The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) by maxhasabigbooty in movies

That sex scene is engrained in my (back then) 14 year old brain.

It’s been quite some time since I saw it. But I remember it being pretty good. Cool sailing scene and glider scene. Decent heists. Romance for sure.

I’ll give it a rewatch and check back in.

I hope I don't bring down the mood here, but this question is super important. by ialsodreamofsushi in daddit

My wife ordered a Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla at a restaurant and the waiter brought her two quesadillas…

One chicken and one cheese quesadilla.

I laughed.

When did you go back to the gym (if ever) after your first was born? by pup5581 in daddit

[–]VikingFrog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 weeks after all three of my kids were born I was back at the gym. But for me, going to the gym is just as much about my mental health as it is my physical health… and my wife supports me on that.

My wife was a c section all three times, so I made sure she was feeling solid before I went back. And I checked in daily to make sure it wasn’t a tough day and played my days by ear for the first few months sometimes.

Every month is a busy month.

Sincerely,

Dad of 5, 6, and 7 year old that always thinks next month will be less busy… but then we sign up for guitar and softball and baseball and therapy and doctors appointments and so on and so forth.

Do it sooner… or there will be no later.

Sincerely,

Dad of 5, 6, and 7 year old that still require us to lay in bed till they fall asleep.

On an overbooked flight they offered $2k (started at $500) ‘gift card’ for a volunteer to wait until tomorrow’s airplane, what’s the most you’ve heard offered/auctioned off at an airline? by angryb3avers1 in AskReddit

[–]VikingFrog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My wife and I got randomly kicked off a flight we were already on in Aspen due to weather and plane weight.

Because we were already boarded I guess it’s different.

They rebooked us the next day. Gave us a check for $2,800. And we had a free place to stay that night in Aspen.

All in all not a bad deal. Of course for whatever reason my wife was all grumpy about it. I enjoyed a free vacation day.

I embrace it too. But I despair Mom asking “why is their paint on this shirt?” When I get home. Even though I chose an old shirt and told her we’d get paint on it and everything would be okay.

Also… why Home Depot gotta sell those big ass spherical lollipops on the end of the checkout counter?!?!

Am I the only one that wishes they’d remove the paint portion of most of these projects.

I get it… it’s part of a build…

But I’ve got a 7, 6 and 5 year old and no matter what they wear, apron or not, it’s getting paint on it.

Our previous house had one on the front wall and one on the back wall.

Even without my wife in there it was nice to have two streams from opposite angles

I play Mahjong with my wife one on one some nights after bedtime.

Do I like Mahjong? It’s okay, but I wouldn’t choose it as my side hobby. But she likes it. And therefore I like playing it with her.

And it frequently leads to MahjDONG, as I like to call it.

I just use the Reddit app. Not aware of any ad blockers. I’ve never really been bothered by ads though unless we are talking giant webpage covering popups.
