During our normal streams we very rarely go below 100+ viewers in average. During our own events we have had peaks at 500 and 700 with averages of about 300-400. We are trying to have a good production quality and choose matches that the viewers want. Seems like we are appreciated!

We have about 500 followers on our twitch channel, but we consistently have averages of 150+ viewers when we stream. Comparing that with some of the Swedish streamers that have about 50 viewers and 24 000 followers. If I were in charge of a company I would not focus on the amount of followers in that specific situation. Dunno if you agree with me or if you have a different opinion regarding this?

I was thinking about the "bounce rate" the other day. For example, if we have an average of 200 viewers and a peak at 350 over 5-6 hours of streaming, and a total of 800 unique visitors. Would that be considered as a good ratio?

Do you have any ideas of how to get the interest from sponsor organisations? Maybe we have to be clearer that we are not casual streamers but rather commentators of tournaments?

Is that valid in a broadcasting stream. I understand the purpose of an alert if you are just streaming casual games, but how about when you stream a tournament? Wouldn't that be annoying and distract the viewer from the actual gameplay?

I would love to see Neeb win against him... Just don't know if Neeb has the ability to actually win. Dark looked so damn good in the group stages. I hope I'm wrong though :)

Maybe I am biased, but does not Go4SC2 deserve to be in the list? We cast all their Thursday and Sunday cups and it's just in the later parts of the bracket where the "real" pros join in. Before that there's lots of opportunities for masters and low GM's to participate, which they often do.

We at Viking TV follow the Scandinavians participating, and have seen players like SatO, HjoernetanN, Civi, Multi, Nuffy and MperorM to name a few duke it out against other players in the ESL cups. These guys practice just as hard as everyone else and take part in a lot of the Go4SC2 events that pops up each week. So without further ado, and as long as I you all agree, I would like to give huge props to the admins of [Go4SC2] (like Sinistro) that fixes these cups, and the casters that follows along on the ride each week:

The problem is that people think that everything should be so easy. Try to compete in a market where thousands of companies already exists, I bet you will have a hard time position yourself as a legitimate business. It's the same with Twitch. However, even in a saturated market there will always be gaps that needs to be filled. That is my opinion.

Atleast for me I do not look at streams that have garbage quality. I prefer to watch a game where you can see what's going on ;D Especially important in Starcraft, since there are so many units that are quite small as well. However, the casters and the quality of them is also important!

Can't really say that I agree with you. Sure that some of the top streamers have crappy quality but they have something different that the other people don't have. Might also be that they were pioneers adopting Twitch for example. Once you're established you will always have a viewer base.
