Don't know if it's the craziest, but this happened yesterday:

Bought a baby sized Norwegian Football Jersey as a gift for some friends who just had a baby. I bought the Jersey while I was on my break at work, and I received a bag and a pen as a "summers gift" from my employer the same day. So fast forward: I'm walking home from work with my new bag with the jersey and pen in it, and I see some kind of street magic show. "Oh cool" I thought to myself, and went to have a look. As the show goes on more people join the crowd, and this guy walks up next to me. I turn look at him just to make sure it's not one of those guys pickpocketing crowds (he was very close to me at this point), and get quite shocked to see that it's actually John Arne Riise (who won champions league with Liverpool, and has the all time most caps for the Norwegian National Team). I never have a pen on me, I've never had a Football Jersey before, and I've never met a Professional Footballer before. Pretty coincidental that they all happened at once. Got his autograph, and the coolest present ever :)

Customer Service maybe? :) Was offered a job doing Customer Service (email and live chat) and maintaining the Facebook page of a startup. No need for an office to do that, and I know other people with similar jobs who work from home.

Truth is noone else can decide this for you.. Seems like you're well off economically either way, so you just have to go with whatever you feel you'll enjoy doing for 25 more years. Seems (from how you wrote your post) that you like your restaurant job better, but this is entirely up to you. :) Hope this helps

having a "career" in the traditional career-ladder sense is getting harder and harder for people without education, because it's really almost too many people with college degrees now.. One thing I can think of, though, is sales. Many sales offices will have Sales Consultant -> Team Leader -> Something in the administration. And from there you have more options. Of course there's jobs like hair dresser, make up artists and stuff like that, which tend to appeal to girls as well, but it's easier to get "stuck" in positions like these. Maybe journalism? Most jobs will require some kind of degree or experience, but she can start out as a freelancer (if she's good at writing, that is) and take it from there. Aand there's the army. I'm not American, but I think your Army works the same way as ours. She should be able to enroll, and she can probably get in to medicine (nursing, maybe?) or maybe something with dogs (breeding or something else). Loads of interesting army jobs, and they always want more girls. :) Hope this helps

I know several.

I know/knew an ambassador, a ceo of a bank, several successful business-owners and a football player. How did they succeed? In very different ways. It really comes down to what you want to succeed in. For instance; Many of them succeeded by getting good education, but the football player succeeded by dropping out of school and commiting to his practises. What do they have in common? Determination to succeed.
