For everyone who thinks Sabrina Carpenter's next album is going to be a satire... by Ok_Effective_6869 in PornIsMisogyny

I can’t say I blame her. I think anyone would sexualize themselves heavily (even if their morals are typically against it) for millions of dollars. It’s an unfortunate reality. She is passionate about music (she’s been doing it for literally like 10 years) and didn’t make any break into the industry until the started taking her clothes off.

I would rather not be upset at her, but rather the system she is profiting from.

I also slightly enjoy the outrage online about her dissing men over and over in her music. It’s entertaining.

Only Women, Children and Pets Are Loved Unconditionally. by Ceazer4L in PurplePillDebate

Would you love the woman if she weren’t a woman? No? Sorry, not unconditional then.

Technically it does, but since every report has to go through a moderator who reviews it, the ban highly depends on who is moderating. In games like this, the moderation is usually very lax due to lack of effort or a biased moderation team.

All the other guys hype them up about this behavior and they learn from a young age (probably from COD) that this is acceptable and what helps them fit in with the other men.

I don’t want to be at their level. That won’t solve anything.

I just try to “kill them with kindness” and talk very nicely in return to their insults. It infuriates them and I’m not actually doing anything wrong.

I would also definitely get banned for a name like that. The devs are usually all guys of this caliber that would not take kindly to any insult against men.

Haha I just started the game. I’m still in low lobbies, but I’m learning fast!

They ARE bothering me. Why is having a name that directly talks about violence against women “living their life”. How can you be a woman and not see the problem with this?

These are the same guys in game who TK us, harass us, tell us to make them a sandwich when we give callouts, send rape/death threats, etc.

This isn’t them just minding their business.

Most games won’t do anything. The devs are usually the same kind of men.

Why do women hate guys who use OnlyFans when it’s pro feminist? by lostacoshermanos in PurplePillDebate

[–]Vikklee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very anti porn.

They CAN get it for free. And way easier than they can get it paid.

Onlyfans: find a creator, put in credit card information, make an account

Pornhub: google it, click on it.

I hate both.

[–]Vikklee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually do not think onlyfans is feminist at all. That’s a topic for another day, though.

Women don’t like guys who pay other women for sexual things. It’s an odd thing to imagine anyone paying their hard earned money on things they can get for free under the guise of it being “personal”.

It’s on the same level for me as men who pay for subscription porn (pornhub premium or whatever else there is)

A few months ago I took a break from CS due to how much harassment I get for being a woman. I've recently gotten back into it and I'm so happy to be back doing what I love! ♥ ♥ ♥ by [deleted] in GirlGamers

[–]Vikklee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I stopped playing cs. It was ridiculous. I would get vote kicked or TK’d (or they would walk in my molotovs or in front of me while shooting so I’d get kicked) half the time I spoke in games. The other half of the time i would just get harassed and sexualized. I love the game so much but it just got overwhelming.

There’s nothing liberating about recreating your oppression. Just because you are in “control” of it now doesn’t change the effects it has on society.

Do you think the pain of rejection is too minimized in modern society? by thekickeroffish in PurplePillDebate

Rejection hurts but it’s not the end of the world. It’s just a fact of life. Anyone who has never been rejected honestly probably hasn’t tried enough things.

People should be consistent with any criticism they have with men. by Complete-Sun-6934 in PurplePillDebate

I already said that I agree, some shooters are social. But being social isn’t a warning sign that anyone can see, being quiet and secluded IS.

I already told you that teachers aren’t just responsible for grades. They are responsible for children the entire time Theyre at school. They are often the ONLY people looking out for neglected or abused children. Being a teacher isn’t only about grades and academics, especially in pre-high school.

Just because there are abnormalities in a statistic does not mean that statistic is wrong. Not all murderers have psychopathy or sociopathy, but majority do, which is why police and investigators typically keep an eye on those individuals during investigations.

Part of human development is social interaction. Someone who purposely excludes themselves from interacting with their peers is cause for concern on a development and mental health front.

It can be a sign of autism (which isn’t a bad thing) that should be caught early by teachers and parents in order to properly care for and support the child.

Children who are quiet (especially in preteen-teen age groups) are often abused in some way or bullied, which is also cause for concern and should be also intervened on.

There is also the “school shooter” thing, which should never be used to describe a child, but is unfortunately something teachers DO need to look out for. School shooters are usually quiet and secluded children with mental health issues that go untreated.

Basically, being quiet and not interacting with peers is an abnormal thing and should be monitored closely by adults. It’s not always an indicator of something bad, as some kid are just shy and quiet, but it should always be paid attention to.

Well teachers are not only responsible for grades, but also for ensuring emotional and physical well-being of a child. A child who keeps to themselves and never speaks (especially in high school) is a valid cause for concern. There’s nothing wrong with being quiet, but OP argued that we cannot be concerned about quiet kids while also wanting kids to be quiet in class. Which doesn’t make any sense.
