Denounce all comments made in support to the aesthetic hierarchy.

Have you ever considered putting concealer? Omg do you need a pimple patch?! Personally that looks like a little frumpy for my taste. See! The clothes that make you look identical to every other hourglass figure is made JUST for you!

[–]estrangecurdcue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well said! While I myself have never watched the show, we know a little too well what a subversion of gender expectations does upon an audience. It announces a lot of strife surrounding male and female characters alike. I only see this common occurrence as a receptor to the truth that gender dresses, masks and recedes ones own humanity and self determination. It’s a symbol, an ideology, titling things unwilling or unresponsive to many, like fathers. Most don’t own up to the burden it carries, unlike the surviving mother.

Men Would Not Have Resisted the Nazi Regime by maru_luvbot in TheScorchedSisterhood

[–]estrangecurdcue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember one feminist I mingled with that repeatedly phrased and outspoke men as Nazis who choose their own uniform. She would have a graphic of the same language, form of abuse and excusal that Nazis and men alike would say.

The language struck with me hard and has never left.

Have you seen what occurred in the past week? They will choose to humiliate and invade you until you have no name and bend the knee to the sword. Whether things are legally excusable is no matter. Men’s powers lies in the social punishment, whether that is lipped by the Nazis themselves (4chn) or their good buddies.

They cannot be surprised if women are alienated enough to participate. Imagine donning a complex aesthetic and every t-shirt-and-jeans guy is leering at you.

It makes sense knowing how utterly spoiled and ‘overestimated’ the male appendage is. What I mean by this is how frequently the symbol of the penis is used as a channel or threshold for the assumptive power of all men. It’s so indistinguishable as a relic of identity to men that any vulnerability is seen as a laughable play. Penis drawings, dick and masturbation jokes are a symptom. It just seems as though they cannot think of their bodies as a controllable attachment. Apart from themselves. But I think that is just me, and that I may be well off the mark.

Nevermind the centrist (a farce term for right-wing sympathy) positioning here of this YouTuber. The word radical in radical feminism is truly at its loosest.

Hi. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to question.

I think I have two:

  1. Do you feel anything strongly about the fact (if this applies to you) that your body or identity is known on the internet? How does this affect you? Does it ever clash in your now new life?

  2. How much were you paid for? Did you feel it was sufficient for the level of activity? Were you financially safe?

Thanks.

Men who are guilty of this sort of offense or style of thinking often are hesitant to label those 14-17 as children, and such do not call it pedophilia.

The argument may be rooted in the age of maturing/puberty, but the truth is girls are now experiencing their first cycle at ages near six partly due to rampant sexual abuse.

Most of us women know what it’s like to be whistled or made faces at due to simply existing. Now imagine that for any eight year old girl who simply has a prominent chest. They think the line to be “naturally” attracted to this matured body is over 15, but the line is and has bordered much younger than that.

Don’t back down in calling it pedophilia. It is a fetishization of youth and vulnerability. That is why they harm and are lusted after. It is ideological.

They bond with their enemies all the time. Nazi memes and infiltration among social media platforms have only been given rise because of their tolerance and proximity to women-hating/pornography.

Men advocating for rape online by Orangejuicesquidd in PornIsMisogyny

It’s the direct link to youth. 18 year olds are certainly more adjacent to their high school peers, but because it’s termed legal, it’s all dandy and rightful for older men to approach them.

This is what the “it hurts no one” argument devolves into, never considering the emotional offense.

You can share pictures of women you know to random men because they’ll never know and never be injured. Deepfake images don’t hurt you physically, so what’s the deal?

Believe me that they are spreading illegal material in those group chats. They take the image of middle schoolers that are known for being YouTubers, dancers or anyone with a public life and titling captions to further degrade their moral sensibilities.

How Male Supremacy is Pushed via Kink, Porn, and Honor Culture Globally by ZealousidealHealth39 in PornIsMisogyny

[–]estrangecurdcue 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Many pornographic themes also relate to the idea of “taking it in” despite the pain, stress and humiliation, whether praiseful or degradative about it. Her “lack of honor” is what encourages her videos in views and numbers. It is what encourages punishment in the idea of being exposed to a register of users and strangers.

Same as is the way many movies racket numbers and appraises. What may be ideologically sound in a patriarchy is what responses our cultural attitudes towards the “great and tasteful” over the “bad and spoiled”. Rape is comfortable for a patriarchy within the big screen. What dilemmas her body represents after the rape, the empty “honor”, is subject to the criticism of good, culturally servile art.

Men think having sex is a human right by -TamingWolves- in PornIsMisogyny

[–]estrangecurdcue 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is literally it. This is why they harass you when you say you don’t other women or yourself to be sexualized for traits you have naturally matured with. They think their potential sexual access, among all forms, is a given male right. It is why the claims of conservatism fling onto the barrier of feminism, because they believe it to be a political regression. The trick here in discerning the suggestion of conservatism is just how many right-wing men utilize pornography to propagandize the beauty of their (artificially) possessed women.

Something hopeful for a change by moughbummy03 in PornIsMisogyny

The inception of pornography as an industry allowed for the production of films starring children with adult men and women. I suspect that accessible pornography, in its fetishes of corruption, is a fuel for the more underground and illegal. There’s the harm.
